Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

For 1, Disney placed Loki after Endgame, but before WandaVision. 2, They go over Sacred Loki's timeline through his death. 3, Variant Loki wouldn't exist without Endgame. 4, I forget which post it is, but someone slowed down the timeline graphics when they shift and the initial year it starts at before moving is 2023.
1. Decent evidence, but also not completely fair. As a show that jumps around in time, there was no chronological point on a timeline to place Loki, so they just placed it according to where Loki's story continues as opposed to when it actually takes place, because again, that would be impossible. Also, if we are using Disney Plus' timeline as a sorce, they place Iron Man 3 after Dark World, so we should make that change as well.

2. What do you think that proves?

3. What do you think THIS proves?

4. I would like to see that if you can find it!

Basically, only one of your arguments is really relevant here and I would love to see the actual proof.

You seem a bit argumentative. I get we are all passionate about this technical stuff that 99.9% of the population couldn't care less about, but can you reel it back a bit? You are coming across a bit too aggressive.

I apologize if it has come off that way, but I assure you there is not an argumentative tone intended. I can see where you would think that from the capitalized "THIS" but assure you that was more so for emphasis than aggression.

I guess at the end of the day it's up to you to decide if it's proof enough for you, because it is to me.

1: Yes we all know TDW happens after IM3, however consider that it is that way on D+ because they based the timeline on where a chapter starts rather than where it ends. If you do that, IM3 does come second and their timeline works.

2 and 3: both have the same point. It's information that dictates a knowledge of history. We know that the TVA exists in a weird bubble of time that hasn't been fully understood to the audience, however, one thing we know for sure is that they don't exist at the end of time where he who remains is. So that means that they have to exist at some point before that otherwise the end of time is an irrelevant piece of information. And while I did make a point a while back about the 'persevering' line in the episode 6 opener being reason for Loki to take place after that, I was reminded it was technically a flashback to Civil War rather than WV. So that being the case, the only history that you see and hear goes up to Endgame but no further. So wouldn't that mean that the TVA is experiencing the current timeline at or damn near close to the end of Endgame.

4: It was on this very page where they linked an image. Just go back to when the show was airing and check the posts, it's in there somewhere.

1. That doesn't really track for me. You would need proof to identify that Tony was telling Bruce about his experiences after November of 2013 when Dark World takes place, and unless I'm missing something, there really isn't anything to place it anywhere. So, your explanation here is based off of assumption, not any sort of tangible evidence.

2 and 3. They do exist before the end of time. Actually, we hear old man Loki from the Void Before The End Of Time, which would make that the last point on the timeline that we hear. We agree that the TVA exists on the timeline, because their actions are predetermined by He Who Remains like everyone else's. We also agree that they are not completely understood by the audience, and that is sort of my whole argument and why I feel they can't be placed on the timeline at this moment, so I agree with the current format of this timeline forum. What we disagree on is how we view time travel. See, you seem to want to format the timeline and the TVA stuff based off of Loki's narrative, Loki escaped in Endgame and thus you view everything that follows as a continuation of Endgame, hence in 2023. But this is a fallible thought process. With time travel, what came before and after is almost irrelevant as anything can lead to anything at any point in time. The timeline on this website isn't based on a cohesive watching order, but it is based on WHEN events take place. Like if time was a television and the years were all channels. I would watch channel 2023 to see the Avengers go back in time, then I would have to change over to channel 2012 to see their part of the time heist and Loki's escape, then I would have to change over to channel 2077 to see Loki and Sylvie on Lamentis. The problem here is that we don't know what CHANNEL the TVA is on because we don't have that information yet, and thus we can't place it on the TV guide because we don't know where it belongs. Events from Endgame lead to events in Loki ABSOLUTELY, but chronologically those events can still occur before Endgame because time travel is involved.

4. I'll look around for it!

Since we narrowed down the placement for Infinity War, it's worth pointing out that Agents of SHIELD 5x14 "The Devil Complex" has Fitz say he wished there was an extra day between Saturday and Sunday, meaning it's Sunday when that episode takes place.

So, May 6th or 13th 2018 for AoS 5x14.

I might chalk that up to him wishing there was an extra day in the weekend.

Soooo are we gonna add the Sony movies yet?
Why?

EDIT: I had forgotted about the "audio" from the mid credits but in that case i think that the best should be doing this at the end of the thread

Sony's Spiderman Universe

And adding the other timelines like Spiderman Trilogy's, Webbverse and the X-Men Saga

I just wanted to sort of keep a running note on what all of the Nexus events in What If..? have been so far.

1x01 Peggy stays in the room to watch Project Rebirth
1x02 Yondu decides to send Kraglin and Taserface after Quill
1x03 Hope van Dyne decides to join SHIELD OR Nick Fury approaches Hope to join SHIELD
1x04 Christine Palmer accepts Stephen Strange's invite to the award ceremony
1x05 Janet is contaminated with a Quantum Virus (Presumably after she communicates through Scott)
1x06 (Assumption) Killmonger is sent to infiltrate the Ten Rings
1x07 Odin returns Loki to the Frost Giants

So it's 100% confirmed Venom and Venom 2 are MCU films (most likely alternate timelines until the final scene of Venom 2). Source.

I don't consider them MCU films, the same way I wouldn't consider the Sony exclusive Spider-Man movies to be, just because villains are crossing over. Part of the Multiverse, yes.
