You are all just obstacles on my path to Nirvana.
So I'm not really an action figure collector, but when I heard about these coming out a few years back I knew I had to have them. Action Figures by DC Collectibles (formerly DC Direct) based on the Arkham games by Rocksteady (of which I am a huge fan). I've included some pics of the available series to share the awesome:

Arkham Asylum - Series 1:

Joker (with Scarface)

So yeah, an awesome series of figures based on a spectacular series of games. I'm hoping we get a Two-Face, Hugo Strange, Jim Gordon, Black Mask, and Calendar Man in future series, and Clayface (clay form, not his Joker form), Hammer, and Sickle in future deluxe series.

These figures are phenomenal overall. The only ones I haven't been impressed by are Poison Ivy (whose stance is weird) and Killer Croc (who has a fantastic sculpt but apparently his arms tend to break off--luckily mine is still in one piece).

They're a bit pricey as the regular figures range between $20-25, and the Deluxe figures range between $40-50, and the Solomon Grundy is reported to be priced at $100 (ouch), but they're definitely worth it due to the detailed sculpts and fantastic paint applications.

Anyone else seen these or possibly picked any up?

How on earth is that possible the arkham games do not seem pike a game that is easy to make action figure off

I either disagree with you completely or possibly just misunderstand you completely, but it's complete either way. First, AA and AC (as us "in the know" like to refer to them as--we get into flame wars arguing which is better and has more artistic merit and blah blah blah and have our moms iron on patches declaring our favorite to our denim jackets) are a great series of games to base action figure lines on: great designs and plenty of characters to make based on those designs times two blockbuster selling and highly rated games equals money...lots.

Just look at the pics above I linked to in the original post. The sculpts are almost all fantastic, the figures are all to a 6" Scale, which means Batman stands around the standard 6", Killer Croc is a good 8-10", and Solomon Grundy coming out later this year will be 12" (a foot by 'Merican standards...and they are the highest--except for public school education and cleanliness & quality of mass produced meat items for human consumption). That's a foot of 110% pure epic amazingness in plastic form. What's not to love.

And seriously, look at all the characters they've already made or have announced will be coming out this year based on the photos links above. The only major Batman related characters from the games they left have to make are Two-Face, Hugo Strange, and Clayface (deluxe). Arguments could be made for Jim Gordon, Calendar Man, Black Mask, Hammer and Mr. Sickle (the Ambromivici Twins - maybe deluxe singles or two-pack?), but after that every major Bat Ally or Villain will have gotten the plastic treatment short of Alfred.

It's a great line, as I'm a huge fan of the games, and the figures line they spawned is just fantastic. Love the character selection first, the sculpts/paints second, and the influence of the Arkham Universe. Also looking forward to getting some news about Arkham 3 or Prequel for it's own sake as well as possible predictions for the inevitable Arham 3 or Prequel DC Collectibles toy tie in line. I'll send them my dollars for these figs (though they are pricey--but worth it).

I was just saying that the with as much as I played it they just seem very hard to make action figures on the characters

Why? There are plenty of skilled sculptors and painters designing figures nowadays, and the Arkham series is ripe with very cool designs. It's one of the better video game to action figure translations. Why do you think it'd be hard to make figures for the games? The level of detail in the costumes/looks of the characters? Character selection? Just wondering.

The games have so much detail in the games I

it would be hard to put all that detail that just
In a small actionfigurethought

Well, they're not that small. The regular figures are around 6" (Mad Hatter is 4-5" since he's short), but the bigger characters like Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy range between 10-12". They're pretty awesome. Seriously, the sculpting/paint jobs on these figures are fantastic.
