Reasoning

Thanks to CZsWorld for providing his Chucky Timeline available on YouTube, which helped me get a big part of the evidence. Watching his video may show various points on my reasoning but his full timeline does not represent completely my point of view since i have my own thoughts in the timeline.

The essential things I consider for a Chucky timeline is that newspapers, tombstones, etc., are not a very trustful information in terms of canon accuracy, this is proven because those timeline details are not often considered and ignored, so until they're not proven wrong or are evidently incorrect (Ex. Andy having Chucky's head way before his birthday.) that should be considered the date at the time.

The first Child's Play takes place on the same year of release (1988), already proved by the series and multiple movies (Newspapers on Bride, etc.) so I suppose we are on the same page, excluding the news article from Curse of Chucky and Nica's birthdate because this is just a mistake. The movie starts in the morning of November 9th (Andy's birthday, Charles' death), then November 10th (Eddie Caputo's death, Car fight.) and November 11th (Final battle, Chucky dies.)

Child's Play 2 takes place 2 years later, October 1990, without a day specification. The evidence for this movie is Andy's slight older look and a calendar that appears on the Simpson's house that has the date of October where Monday is the first day of the year. (1990 is the only year in that vicinity where Monday is the first day of October.) The whole movie takes place in the matter of 3 days, the first day being Andy getting adopted, second being Chucky in Andy's school, and third the final battle in the factory.

Child's Play 3 takes place 8 years after, 1998 without a month and day specification. Andy's file in the computer says that Andy's present age is 16 years old, so if his birthday is on November 1988 (Andy was 6 years old) and in this movie he's 16 years old, then this takes place 10 years after the first film, after Andy's 16th birthday in November 9th 1998 (Something like this occurs with Bride, my elaboration is below.). The movie takes place between 3 days (First: Chucky kills the CEO of Play Pals. Second: Andy arrives to Kent. Third: Final battle, Chucky is destroyed by the industrial fan.)

Bride of Chucky also takes place in 1998 without a month and day specification, but we know that it obviously takes place after Child's Play 3 because of Chucky's fate after falling to the industrial ventilation. Tiffany's line saying "It took me 10 years to find you" already confirms this takes place 10 years after the first film just like in Child's Play 3 and it sort of confirms that this happens after November 9th which is also Andy's 16th birthday. I theorize both the third and fourth movie take place around Late November-December. (Note: this is Glen and Glenda's original birth date, so this may explain why they celebrate their birthday differently than their human birth dates.)

More will be added and changed.

Side Notes
The version I used for the series timeline is clean without the Syfy or USA channel intro included and the warning at the beginning. I note this because of multiple versions of the same episodes having different lengths and confusing the user who attempts to follow this timeline. Episodes 1x01,1x02 and 2x01 start after a 1 second and 55 milisecond black screen because of the manual removal of the channel intro to work with the episode properly.

In the Child's Play comic book timeline, I don't mean that they all take place in the same universe (Instead of Hack/Slash vs. Chucky because it contradicts Chucky (2007).) but it was easier to include them in since they don't have too many contradictions.

I also used the unrated versions of Curse and Cult of Chucky, and included the deleted scene of Seed of Chucky when Tiffany hides Fulvia's body.

This is a timeline for the original Child's Play franchise created by Don Mancini.

Kinda Based on CZsWorld's timeline reasoning and a couple of my ideas aswell.

Pretty sure you've got a mistake there in 2017... Though I've never seen anything past "Seed" yet, besides the Mark Hamil version.

Great timeline, it appears that you like horror movies pretty much, when you have more free time, would you be interesed on doing a Texas Chainsaw Masacre Timeline?
The only TCM timeline that could be done would be the remake timeline, which has 2 movies, 1 novelization and 18 comic books. The original timeline has too many contradictions to make any sense of it.

Actually there are multiple timelines:
Timeline 1:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre II

Timeline 2:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)

Timeline 3:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) (?)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation

Timeline 4:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)

Timeline 5:
Leatherface (2017)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
The Texas Chainsaw Masacre 3D

Timeline 6:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

According to Fede Álvarez, Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022) is a sequel to the first 4 films that would happen in the same timeline, but there are too many contradictions that the fans have decided to establish them as separate timelines. Also, Leatherface (2017) doesn't really contradicts any of the first 4 films so it can be taken as "canon" in their respective timelines

Texas Chainsaw 1-4 are the same universe. The fourth movie mentions "two minor, yet apparently related incidents" that happened after the first film. Sally going into a catatonic state is retconed, that's fine. It's messy and requires a lot of duct tape, but yeah. The new film would sit in this original continuity somehow I guess...

Timeline 1:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre II
Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III (1990)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2022)

Timeline 2:
Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003)

Timeline 3:
Leatherface (2017)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)
The Texas Chainsaw Masacre 3D

Hell, why not discuss the whole Slasher multiverse here?

One thing that I see a lot is this. Freddy and Jason films aren't canon to Marvel's Earth-818793 (Army of Darkness comics), meaning Freddy vs Jason vs Ash, because that would mean that two characters who are underage during the comic in the film timeline are... consenting adults, so to speak. It also contradicts other Freddy and Jason comics which should probably be taken as being set in the primary timeline.

Though, according to the Appendix, the Evil Dead Trilogy is canon to this Earth, not just the comics and an alternate version of those films. I suppose we can assume it played out exactly the same but in present day. The Evil Dead television show doesn't fit in this timeline either, though.

There was also a Jason vs Leatherface comic but I heard it didn't fit into canon. Maybe it's a Texas prequel and the Jason variant was chained up earlier, I don't know. Probably non-canon.

Of course, Leslie Vernon exists in a reality where Chucky, Jason, Freddy and Michael all exist. You could say they're all linked if you'd like, but that gets really complicated quickly.

Regarding the many Slasherverse connections, I personally find this to be simple.
Slasher Multiverse
Freddy vs Jason
Friday the 13th film series
Nightmare on Elm Street film series
Notes: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Shocker and Hatchet somewhat occurred in this reality, Necronomicon book exists

Friday the 13th 2
Friday the 13th (2009)
Note: variant of Trent Sutton-DeMarco from Transformers Cinematic Universe exists

Nightmare on Elm Street 2
Nightmare on Elm Street TV series

Nightmare on Elm Street 3
Wes Craven's New Nightmare

Nightmare on Elm Street 4
Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

Evil Dead
Evil Dead 1-4 film series
Ash vs. Evil Dead TV series
Note: Freddy Krueger's glove appears

Halloween 1
Halloween 4-6 film series

Halloween 2
Halloween III: Season of the Witch

Halloween 3
Halloween H20

Halloween 4
Halloween (Reboot) film series

Halloween 5
Halloween (2018) film series

Child's Play
Child's Play film series
Chucky TV series
Notes: Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Halloween, Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm's Street somewhat occurred in this reality

Etc.

Marvel Multiverse
Earth-818793
Evil Dead 1-3 film series (?)
Army of Darkness comics
Notes: Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street somewhat occurred in this reality

Of course, you can always combine all of the Slasher films, but that causes a bit of confusion such as how Evil Dead is a fictional movie in one of the films. Still, there are some very clear connections throughout all of them that you can take as an implication they exist in the same universe.

God, I'd love to see someone tackle a Friday/Nightmare timeline with all the tie-in material.

Taken from Watchtower Database's video
That's something that's been on my back-burner for years. I'd include Evil Dead with it, though, since Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash is a pretty blatant cross-over and not just a random appearance of a mask, glove or book.

That can't be canon. It contradicts both the other comics and the movies themselves. Certain characters who should be small children in the film timeline by this point are actually teenagers having... you know. Also, Jason X can't be canon with it either because of the timeline. The aforementioned Watchtower Database video goes over it.

It's set in Marvel's Earth-818793, the world where Ash Williams originated from in Marvel Zombies. It's where all the Army of Darkness comics are set. In that reality, the Evil Dead films are set in present day.

The Marvel Appendix explicitly states that the Trilogy occur in this universe, so I assume the events happened exactly as they did in the Evil Dead Universe down to every detail, only it occurred in the 2000s instead of 1981. If that's too confusing, just ignore the Appendix and assume an alternate version of the Evil Dead Trilogy happened but with a modern setting. Evidently, an alternate version of the Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street series happened as well, except certain characters were born earlier and Jason is never frozen. It's the only way to make it work without compromising the timeline.

Well, NONE of the tie-in material is canon, but you suggested someone compile a timeline anyway, so I don't see why this would be an exception. The only thing I WOULDN'T include is the Texas Chainsaw Movies, because it's unclear which of the many versions of Leatherface appeared in Jason vs. Leatherface.

Why wouldn't tie-in material be canon? All officially licenced tie-in material is canon unless otherwise stated. This is the exception because it contradicts the films, as well as comics that don't actually contradict the films. It contradicts Jason X, dude. Also, two consenting adults have sex, except they're the babies from each franchise and, in terms of the timeline, one should be 20 and the other should be 9!!! Additionally, Evil Dead Trilogy takes place in the late 90s or early 00s, which contradicts Ash vs Evil Dead. In fact, I'm pretty sure Ash even fighting deadites here contradicts the show correct me if I'm wrong.

38:30
As I've stated, it's in the Army of Darkness comics book universe (Marvel's Earth-818793). Why would you throw out Jason X, throw out serveral comic books that fit perfectly in the continuity, and assume a 9 year old who looks 10 years older is getting groomed by a 20 year old?

Jason vs. Leatherface can't be canon with Friday the 13th because it changes things too much. Jason's mother has a different name. It could be a Texas Chainsaw Massacre prequel I believe though.

I'm pretty sure ALL tie-in material contradicts the films. The films contradict each other. Most of the films even contradict THEMSELVES. Blatant continuity errors are as gratuitous in slashers as gore and nudity are. It's a part of their DNA. Some are more egregious than others, of course, but everyone has to draw the line for themselves. I can't tell you what is or isn't an acceptable contradiction, nor vice versa. If one were to embark on this project, your options would be to only include what YOU deem to be "true" canon, or to include everything and let the readers decide for themselves.

And again, you started off by saying:

God, I'd love to see someone tackle a Friday/Nightmare timeline with all the tie-in material.

So I began by responding to that proposal.

Obviously, I meant all tie-in material that fits into the continuity of the films. That's why I included a screenshot from the Watchtower Database video, because those comics do fit as a matter of fact, so why wouldn't they be canon?

Those peices of tie-in material do fit with the films. The films obviously do fit with each other. Earth-818793 does not relate to the canon of Friday/Nightmare because it's illogical. All tie-in material excluding a piece of tie-in material which is completely incompatible with everything and is clearly meant to be an alternate timeline only tying in to the Army of Darkness comic books? Those comics had crossovers with serveral things, it never meant anything beyond that they exist in this alternate Ash's world (Earth-818793). The same way this is an alternate Ash Williams, they are alternate versions of Freddy and Jason. Simple, easy, clean. Everything else, everything that doesn't contradict that is, stays canon. Jason X (obviously) stays canon. The Freddy vs Jason vs Ash comic isn't meaningless either because it's canon to the Army of Darkness comics.

Please explain how a 9 year old is the same age as a 20 year old in-universe. There's some things you can reconcile, but that isn't one of them. In-universe, years aren't fluid, ages aren't fluid, it just can't happen. The whole Jason X debacle is dumb as well. Films over comics, comic contradicts films, comic contradicts other comics, comic must be an alternate continuity. The fact it's in the Marvel Multiverse also makes it disputed IMO.

One of the things being a nerdy fan of many franchises has taught me is that, if you want to, you can ALWAYS find a way to make it work. Slasher movies are made for one purpose (besides to make money, of course) and that's to scare people. Story doesn't even come second. It's probably like 10th on the list of priorities for the filmmakers. If you grew up with slashers in the 80s, you had a choice, either ignore the blatant contradictions between movies, or come up with your own ideas on how it all fits together. But either way, I'd never be so arrogant as to assume that just because *I* can't come up with a way to reconcile the problems of lazy scriptwriters, that doesn't mean there isn't a way to do it. I've seen some people come up with brilliantly creative ways of explaining away contradictions that I never would've thought of in a million years. That's part of the fun of being a nerd!
