I enjoy corn in soups. Not a lot, but some is good.

And lentil soup is delicious. Though I have never eaten a lentil that smelled like horse ****, so that may ruin the experience.

I hate peas and don't know the difference between those peas and regualr peas, but there are peas in this soup too. Usually she gets soup that doesn't have peas (or corn), but she screwed up this time.

Don't worry, I already yelled at her for it.

Apparently a number of people, as I found several recipes on the 'Net:

http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art727.asp

http://www.foodlovers.co.nz/recipes/display.php?id=67

http://www.recipezaar.com/147343

Also, I found a recipe that has no noodles, but does include.... peanut butter? http://soup.allrecipes.com/az/PeanutBttrVgtblChcknSp.asp

And just for fun, Pumpkin Corn Soup with Ginger Lime Cream: http://www.elook.org/recipes/american/1329.html (You know, this one actually sounds pretty good. I may have to try it.... )

What can I say, it's an obsession. (And I can count it as a reference question on my statistics at work.)

Besides, this is one of the rare threads in the Lounge that's actually family-friendly and work safe. :D

I find it vastly amusing that E is gradually moving across all the food groups and dealing with his issues. The healing process is a long one E, but I'm told that it's worth it in the end. Do not fear, my friend, one day you too shall soon be eating food just like a real boy.
