Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 2)

I think it'll be a case of they will change the dialogue in the actual film and they only used vague bits and pieces for the trailer or it'll be a guesstimate on the part of the film crew as Ragnarok also had a vague 2017 date (thank god for Agents of Shield though for the clarification)

Or the other thing could be that because Jane was referenced in Ragnarok as broken up with Thor that they just used that November 2017 date instead of April/May 2015 (which if they did would put us in June 2025 instead of November/December 2023)

I would take the "8 years, 7 months, 6 days" with a grain of salt. Thor could have easily just been joking. Either way, we'll never have a hard date to start from.

I do think 2024 is very likely. Jane saying 3-4 years, and adding 5 on account of her getting snapped, also puts it around then. Plus I think Lebnyx is onto something with he NWH Easter egg.
I wouldn't take it with a grain of salt, since the whole point of it is that he knows exactly how long it's been since the breakup. As for the political turmoil, I don't think it means Love & Thunder has to exactly be around FFH/NWH as the turmoil could be going on a while before or after the events of those movies.

I honestly don't think it'll be that big of a deal if their breakup ends up needing to be 2016 or 2017. Maybe they tried long-distance for a while and at a point, realized it didn't work. Hopefully, the movie is clear on its placement and we can work back from there to determine when the breakup happened.

It's a pretty common joke though. Pretending to know how long ago something was down to the day. Maybe it's just me?

To unclutter the timeline, I've been thinking about changing the layout of some of the time travel sections if they are intercut.

For example, changing this section

Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:00:00 - 0:30:57)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:32:40 - 0:33:46)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:30:58 - 0:32:06)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:33:47 - 0:33:55)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:32:07 - 0:35:30)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:33:56 - 0:35:02)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:35:31 - 0:36:37)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:35:03 - 0:37:21)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:36:38 - 0:37:24)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:37:22 - 0:37:57)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:37:25 - 0:38:54)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:37:58 - 0:38:12)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:38:55 - 0:40:43)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:38:13 - 0:38:19)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:40:44 - 0:40:54)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:38:20 - 0:38:44)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:40:55 - 0:43:57)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:38:45 - 0:38:56)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:43:58 - 0:44:50)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:38:54 - 0:40:21)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:44:51 - 0:47:40)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:40:22 - 0:43:30)**
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:47:41 - 0:50:09)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:43:31 - 0:46:50)**

to something like this.

Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:00:00 - 0:30:57)
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:30:58 - 0:50:09)
(Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
**Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:32:40 - 0:46:50)**

This would also go for the Endgame time travel scenes, which would be placed together, rather than separated by the concurrent 'The Avengers' scenes. Should I do it?

That's certainly easier to read, but I haven't seen those episodes. Do they overlap closely, or are there extra scenes in 3x10?

When we get two versions of the same scene, would it make sense to notate then on the same line? Something like:
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:30:58 - 0:50:09) (Earth-TRN769 and TRN770) // **Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:32:40 - 0:46:50)**
That could work well for the prelude comics too.

You could use tables instead, but that's one more thing that could go wrong.

A third option: Keep them on separate lines, but with a notation to indicate that they have significant overlap. For example:
Runaways 3x09: "The Broken Circle" (0:30:58 - 0:50:09) (Earth-TRN769 and TRN770)
= **Runaways 3x10: "Cheat the Gallows" (0:32:40 - 0:46:50)**
That version would work best for something like The Flash's many different POV's of the particle accelerator explosion.

I don't remember if there are added scenes, but we do see and hear scenes from 3x09 from the perspective of the time-traveled characters.

Chase from 2028 and the Runaways from 2021 time travel to save Gert from dying during the events of 3x09. After they save her, the futures of Earth-TRN769 and TRN770 are erased.

Any comments on my or Tribble314's suggestions? I would only do it for time travel that causes a divergence from the original timeline, not for time loops like in AoS 7x13.

I'm with it, I absolutely despise time travel. So do whatever you want with it.

Hey I've got a few quick event placement questions.

Do we know when Maya Lopez's father was killed

Do when know when Marc Spector first became Moon Knight?

Do we know when the WandaVision post-credit scene with Wanda and the Darkhold happens? I recall there being a comment on that being a few months after but I'm not sure.

Any evidence we got pointing to when they happen would be appreciated!

There haven't been precise dates given for these.

Yeah I know I was hoping for some clues and stuff in the series that answered them. While back I saw someone mention that Marc became Moon Knight in 2015 based on information in the series and I still don't know what that was.

Ms. Marvel definitely takes place in 2024. Episode 1 starts on a Wednesday and ends on a Saturday. No clue of the month yet...
I think so too, but I didn't see anything that "definitely," said it had to be 2024. And of course, the Disney + placement has Ms. Marvel as being the most recent thing on their timeline placement. Further proof they're just lazily putting anything set "present-day" by release order. Loki and What-If being outside the main timeline, explain how they got them right.

Just finished watching the episode (giving me kinda Spider-Man homecoming vibes with a Pakistani twist, just adds to the increasing amount of genres that we're getting, not my favourite show atm but definitely not the worst)

Anyway, timeline wise I'm thinking either September or October just because Kamala has been in school for a few weeks now and she is in junior year (I'm also using Spider-Man homecoming as a sort of guide for the school semesters etc.)

Not sure whether we are in 2024 or 2025 though (Avengerscon would probably happen a year after the battle of earth in 2023 rather than 2 years but crazier things have happened)

Also if you didn't realise episode 1 has a mid credit scene which references Spider-Man no way home but I can't tell if it's before the majority of the events that happened in that film (November 2024) or after

Might go back through the various school scenes and see if I can narrow anything down but at least we have an ok estimate

Haven't seen the episode yet, but from what i know from leaks and a promotional TV spot, it has to take place between Late September and October to fit into:

1) Kamala is on school year, if 2024 it has to be between Mid August and Mid December
2) The Stark Drones from FFH appear on leaked photos, it has to be after the Spider-Man controversy and the Stark Industries investigation
3) Agent Cleary appears on a TV spot and maybe will have a secondary role on the series
4) The weather seems to be Fall-ish on the trailers

So assuming this it is likely on Fall

I agree it looks to be around Fall, but Agent Clearly and the Stark Drones could appear in the series whether it's 2024 or 2025. I'm leaning more towards 2024 at the moment, mainly due to production and the show originally meaning to release prior to Hawkeye and Moon Knight. But, I feel like 2025 is still a possibility.
