Non-Arrowverse DC TV Show Timelines

Dick Grayson's whole thing about
him killing Jericho
"five years ago" can't work if in very, very late December 2014 Hawk and Dove weren't even on the Titans team yet. (At least by December 29, 2014.) And the episode "Aqualad" occurs over the course of MORE than a couple days.

I guess Dick Grayson rounds up 4 years and 3 months(?) to "five years"?

EDIT: Funny how DCU's synopsis for "Aqualad" said it was "four years ago". Almost like they're aware of the timeline mistake.

Yeah, that was a little bit distracting, but at least they acknowledge it, probably.

Jason Todd: Destined to die, but saved by hope.

Thank you very much! I will catch up all of these before the TV series, thanks!
Just a note, I've changed some of it as I'm going through it. Might want to wait a little bit for me to finish.

When you get to Watchmen: The End is Nigh, probably go with:

If not the game itself. A whole walkthrough of the game is 4 hours, at least this gets you the story without the boring beat-em-up scenes.

If you can manage that, though:

This is an issue.

Do I just move the "Hank and Dawn" flashbacks where Don and Dawn's Mom get hit and everything after that to 2013? Ignoring the December 14, 2014 date on the newspaper?

EDIT: Okay for one thing, the newspaper in "Hank and Dawn" said THURSDAY December 14, 2014. That year would have to be a typo I guess...

I'd probably move Hank & Dawn back a year and keep the December 18th date ignoring the 2014 part. Pahaps it's an extremely rare newspaper typo?

Now hold on, I just edited my post to where I saw it said "Thursday". There's a Thursday December 4th in 2014, despite the newspaper saying the 14th (not 18th, again my memory sucks). I could work that the newspaper publisher accidentally added a "1" to the day.

I can't tell if that said 18 or 14 still, it's too blurry...screw it, it's December 4th 2014 now.

Crummy Washington newspaper. That leaves a little wiggle room in December 2014 in the timeline for "Jericho".

Gotham's "Year 1" is so short because the events of Season 1 are so tightly knitted together and Bruce's "two years ago" line when he meets Matches Malone completely makes "Year 1" so insignificant length-wise.

There can only be a sizeable time jump after 2x04. 2x05 and 2x14 are, again, tightly knitted and close together. I guess Barnes and the GCPD have hunted Penguin's gang for a whole year...

Sorry, I hadn't see it, thanks!

I mean... it's the same as the comic but as a motion comic, so yeah. If you prefer that over the standard comic, you can use that instead.
Okay thanks! Personnally I prefer the traditional comic!

Last question about Watchmen and I promise I will not ask another!

For the movie Watchmen (which is not canon to the comics/TV series), the documentary "Under the Hood" should be watched before or after the movie?

"A fictional documentary titled Under the Hood, detailing the older generation of superheroes from the film's back-story."
"A 38-minute, fictional in-universe documentary detailing the characters' backstories, which takes its title from that of Hollis Mason's memoirs in the comic book. Under the Hood is rated PG because it is meant to resemble a behind-the-scenes television news magazine profile of the characters. The actors were allowed to improvise during filming interviews in character. Bolex cameras were even used to film "archive" footage of the Minutemen."

Thanks!

Before. You could watch between Before Watchmen: Moloch #1 and Before Watchmen: Oxymandias #6 if you want to fit it in the comic continuity, which you technically could, though it's canonicity is debatable. Probably not canon.

I think I will go with two different timelines:
1) Comics/Video game/TV series
2) Movie/Video gale/Documentary
