Slasherverse - Timeline

TV Tropes thinks the reference to the Miner in Danny Johnson/Ghost Face's lore is a reference to My Bloody Valentine.

In case anyone missed it, by the way:

I thought it was a reference to Trapper or something to be honest. Maybe the main DBD universe is the slasherverse, lol. Hope not, because there's hours and hours of lore in that.

You could actually get really crazy with the meta-reality.

Real World
-My Bloody Valentine (DBD reference)
-Halloween III: Season of the Witch
-Clerks
-Wes Craven's New Nightmare
-Mallrats
-Scream
-Chasing Amy
-Dogma
-Jay and Silent Bob
-My Name is Bruce
-Tusk
-Yoga Hosers
-Amityville: The Awakening
-Hack/Slash: 15th Anniversary Special
-Chucky [Real World parts]

Then each reboot could be a parallel reality created within the fictional real world, just to get even crazier. Rob Zombie's Halloween was seen in the Scream TV series.

"Favourite killers throughout history"
"He reaches out and touches a caricature of the one they called The Miner"

Is that evidence that Danny Johnson's Ghost Face comes from the same universe as My Bloody Valentine?

Thinking of "meta/real world" horror films/shows. Not because they're connected, just for the sake of it.

-The Human Centipede 2 (Part 1 is fictional - also, yuck...)
-The Town That Dreaded Sundown (2014)
-The Human Centipede 3 (Part 2 is fictional - it's a fictive-layer centipede XD)
-Ju-On: Origins TV Series

Just for fun.

Layer 2: Human Centipede 2
Layer 3: Human Centipede 1

Not sure if this is a mistake, but Ash and the Army of Darkness (as well as the 2014 Annual) was added to the timeline twice.
