Ultimate X-Men #76 Discussion *spoilers*

It's not that I have a problem with Cable being Wolverine. It's just that I think he's going to ruin Cable by doing so.

I'm still thinking it's all a trick to get inside Wolverine's head.

Although I think Kirkman is gonna stick with the Cable is Logan thing, it could be cool if Cable was just messing with Wolverine. I mean, he doesnt seem to have super senses, a healing factor, and hes too tall to be Logan.

Ok I'm a little late but whatever.

What the crap is gong on with this Cable thing? Ok just for a sec lets say he is the future Wolverine.

When Cable goes back in time shouldn't he remember what happens since he was already there and had gone through it when he was still Wolverine?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but when the FF did the time travel thing they saw spiders that would rip them to pieces, if they touched thier past selves, to prevent all of time from being destroyed. Maybe Reed made those things but I didn't get that impression. If I'm right Cable should be ripped up by time spiders or something right?

If Cable is not the future Wolverine and he's just playing mind games then nevermind.

Maybe, maybe not. Cable may be changing the timestream, in which case he wouldn't remember it.

Yeah, this has been brought up by me several times. This is what I think is the strongest argument that Cable isnt Logan:
-Lack of time spiders (although it could be a simple continuity error, who knows if Kirkman even read Millars UFF)
-Height difference (although if future Logan lost his healing factor and the adamantium, he may have gotten taller.)

I really hate the idea of time spiders. Why they did not attack Ben when he punched the dinossaur? I still think the time spiders are the one out of continuity.

The time spiders only interfere if you attempt to engage your past self.

I think Project was the first one to bring them up actually.

Not that it matters, but I first introduced the idea in the Cable speculation thread.

If Proj brought it up beforehand, I didn't see it. I know several people have brought it up since, its kind of a glaring error since Millars UFF came out so recently.

...What if you interfere with someone really important for your self past? I mean, it's bad if you interfere with yourself. But it's ok to, let's say, kill your mom before she have you?

Does the Ultimate Universe have alternate timelines?

I didn't read President Thor (I will soon enough). So did that timeline continue in it's own timeline or was it undone and the timeline restored?

Either way, I have a sneaky suspension that Kirkman's about to make it so there are alternate timelines in his Cable run.

Unless Cable's from the president day working for the Hellfire Club to kill Prof Xavier so that Shadow King can come in and torment Jean into becoming the Phoenix.

Oh and may the record state that I said that idea first, :D
