Ultimate Spider-Man...Mazal Tov?

Maybe if they explained why he knows Yiddish.

I mean, I know he lives in Queens, but maybe if they showed a flashback of Peter watching his parents reading a Yiddish dictionary.

Why not show how he learned to walk or why he knows how to use a computer?

Well, you're right about schmendrick. But I asked my dad what manishevitz is (he said it's Jewish wine).
So when he yelled at whoever it was, he was recommending a wine? So now he drinks illegally?!

Way to go Bendis! w00t! w00t!

Boy, oh boy! I can't wait to see when Peter recommends a pr0n movie in yiddish. Oh the excitement in waiting!!

I have....they're all starting to sound the same. Some like it. Some don't. Some can't understand why he's using it at all if he's not Jewish.

Basically the complaint is that the words he uses (incorrectly, I might add) are too obscure to be used by a non-Jew as frequently as he does. It's ridiculous.

Somehow that got twisted into people thinking we were saying he should never use Jewish words or wouldn't know any, and that was never the argument.

You see, Lynx? I rest my case.

I agreed about manishevitz. It didn't make any sense, especially since I don't think it's actually a Yiddish word. It's a Jewish name.

But, shcmendrick? It's not obscure. It made sense in the context it was used.
