I didn't watch the entire video. Check it out!Did he bring up the fact that Shazam 2 is set in 2020 and Black Adam is too?
So I was completely wrong about this, after watching his video.Did he bring up the fact that Shazam 2 is set in 2020 and Black Adam is too?
In ZSJL, I think Barry's job acceptance letter is dated August, so I'd say that film ends in that month.Updated.

I guess this is the "Man of Steel" of the DCU in the sense that it's the 'first' one of this timeline/iteration?
I'm very curious what changes going forward.

It's possible the film is set before The Flash too. The MCU hasn't been releasing chronologically for years.having seen the movie, the only references to anything is reference to a "superman of metropolis" and a "flash of central city", as well as batman being a fascist
EDIT: the opening credits have a newspaper montage, i didn't notice any dates but i definitely could have missed something
it feels to me like the universe is being treated like the x-men, ie the dceu happened in the original timeline and after the timeline is altered with flashpoint it was reset so that anything can be considered canon from the past (the Suicide squad, peacemaker) and anything else not (man of steel) and i truly can't rationalize clooney's reappearance at the end of the flash unless they just recast and either don't address it at all or acknowledge it as a gag and nothing more -or- we discover that Barry is now stuck on earth-97 or just some other alternate timeline, even with blue beetle's flash reference it could be wally he's referencing as the protector of central city
how do we know?Blue Beetle is 100% set in July 2023 btw.
It takes place around a month after he graduates Gotham Law and it's clearly the middle of summer.how do we know?
ah true, any evidence for 2023 specifically? It takes place around a month after he graduates Gotham Law and it's clearly the middle of summer.
I took it as post-Flash.ah true, any evidence for 2023 specifically?
Evidence?I took it as post-Flash.
Aquaman 2 will probably cement things IF it reference BB at all.As I've previously stated, I firmly think Blue Beetle is set on an independent universe to both the DCEU and the DCU to the director's statements and the character will return through a variant of him portrayed by the same actor and with a similar backstory but being a different character until we have a more clear statement
But if it were separate from both, then it might as well be Post-Flashpoint DCEU. It doesn't make any sense for it to be neither. As I've previously stated, I firmly think Blue Beetle is set on an independent universe to both the DCEU and the DCU to the director's statements and the character will return through a variant of him portrayed by the same actor and with a similar backstory but being a different character until we have a more clear statement
The DCEU Wiki has this clip canon, as DirectTV stated that this is Wonderous Serena's Origin Story, so i would argu ethat its canon:Serving Up Justice #1
Serving Up Justice #2 [Wonderous Serena's Universe]
Serving Up Justice #3
Serving Up Justice #4 [Wonderous Serena's Universe]
1) No, I don't think so.Any Chance the Horror Movie Lights Out will be included? Because Emma Glover is a character that appears in both (Shazam and Lights Out), so I think we should discuss the canonicity. They are intended to be the same character played by the same actress. I mean a similiar case connected Friday 13th and Transformers, sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
What are you refering to?2) It would likely be set between Aquaman and Shazam! due to the fact it references the Justice League and the time of the year it was filmed. So, sometime in 2018 I take it.
