Hello, I am new to the Wildstorm Universe.
How many main iterations does it have?
I have read on the DC wiki that Wildstorm used to be part of the Image Universe but then in an in-universe event it was split from it. Then I know that it was made into Earth-50 (there was a in-universe reboot here?) and then merged with the main DC universe.
Do the series start anew after every reboot or do they continue "in broad strokes" like the DC Universe does every time it reboots?

The first iteration of the Wildstorm universe begins with WildCATs in 1992 and is part of the Image Universe (or multiverse according to some).

The second iteration could be considered to start at two different points. The first after the 1996 Shattered Image crossover (but the story told in the book does not explain why the Wildstorm Universe separates from the rest of the Image Universe, there were later changes of opinion) or the editorial moment in which Wildstorm emancipates himself from Image Comics circa 1999.

This iteration is continuous with the previous one, but any reference to other Image's characters are omitted, either in the present of what is told in the books or in the past of the universe that is growing more and more. It is at this time that DC Comics will purchase Wildstorm and introduce it into the DC universe little by little until it finally becomes Earth-50, at which point Worldstorm will happen and will restart all continuity in a new Wildstorm universe with very little or no continuity with the above.

Then the New 52 arrived and from this point the Wildstorm characters will be part of the same Earth as the rest of the Post-Flashpoint DC Universe, with new continuity, origins, etc...

Another iteration of the Wildstorm Universe exists as a new parallel Earth of the DC Multiverse, which consists of a miniseries "The Wildstorm" and a spin-off, "Deathblow" and is a complete reinvention of the Wildstorm Universe.

And to make matters worse, the most recent changes in the DC Universe have brought new changes for the WildStorm characters that populate Earth-Prime.

Yes. I plan to return to it. I don't know if with the precision that I would have liked, because I can't get some comic-books in my language and, on the other hand, I found signs of timesliding in the Gen 13 characters, altering some of the dates with the that worked.

I know you are going to continue. I was asking at which point of the Wildstorm Universe are you going to stop considering it "(Pre-DC)"
 
I'm sorry, I didn't understand you.
WorldStorm would be the end. Before the reboot started in DC.
