Okay, here's what I found in regards to Medusa that still needs adding (pre-1961):
  • U.S.A. Comics #6 (October, 1942)
  • Mystery Tales #17 (September, 1953)
  • Tales of Suspense (1959) #10 (February, 1960)

Aren't there comics in Earth-616 that depict Marvel's version of the Bible (no superheroes or anything)? Always thought that was kinda funny. Imagine if The Passion of the Christ was part of the MCU or something, it'd be ridiculous.

Also, there's that time when Julius Caesar died in a freak accident years before his actual death, historically, and thus an alien assumed his identity to keep the timeline intact, meaning that any appearances of Caesar after 46 BC is of Charles Cotta (the alien who assumed Caesar's identity).

No, seriously. This is canon to Marvel. XD

Okay, for U.S.A. Comics #6, it's the first story ("The Ghost's Gaze of Death!") that only matters for Medusa. Not sure if you plan to expand the timeline to include pre-1960s comics from Timey/Atlas, but probably would be a good idea to consider down the line.

Now, as for timeline, the main story takes place in 1942, going off of Cap's dialogue. The story also features a somewhat abridged retelling of Medusa's demise from Steve to Bucky, with accompanying flashbacks.

For specific genres outside of main teams, in this case "supernatural" Marvel comics, one uniform color per genre.

What color though, I dunno. Just helps generize it to avoid 1000s of different colored text in a timeline.

Given Death's nature as a Cosmic Entity, I'd imagine she falls under the Marvel Cosmos section, which would be weird for the stories I'm adding, which are mainly set during WW2, yet feature her in them.

For those curious... I decided that I'd do the War is Hell comic series, specifically issues 9 to 15, due to the first eight only being reprints, whereas the final seven issues have original stories set during WW2.

Flashback of John Kowalski's court-martial is shown and dated to March 16th, 1937.

Kowalski's first encounter with Ostergan has a mention of Hitler preparing to invade Poland "tomorrow", placing that scene on August 31st.

War is Hell #10... second page establishes the story as being in September, 1939 during the Nazi's invasion of Poland. The sixth page makes mention of Hitler conquering Poland within thirty days, but that could be Kolwalski's thoughts from after the story. There's also a flashback set a week prior, showing how Kolwalski came to possess Simon Bock.

I'm just thankful that the War Is Hell stories at least have placements that I can use, unlike many other Marvel WW2 stories.
