I started reading this thread and wondering "What the hell are you people talking about?" Then noticed the timestamps. This is all pre-MCU. Yeah. Marvel-based movies mostly sucked pre-MCU (there were 2 or 3 exceptions). They were all over the place and Marvel had no real control over quality.

They could have done them specifically on the Decimation (as they call it in-Universe). The Leftovers style, though far greater impact.

I finally got around to updating my spreadsheet on the MCU Timeline today. I've been using DIrish's detailed timeline as a guide. Once I'd finished, I decided I had to ask him some questions about Luke Cage S02 and other post 2018 Netflix titles. It seemed to me they were better suited in 2017...

Did Mack call her Elena in the season opener? I don't recall. You placed the season opener in October, right? So, for the sake of argument, let's say Oct 1. Three months later is Jan 1 2017. So this latest episode could end just shortly before the next one airs in January. I guess we'll have to...

If you compare that watch to the first, clearer, image, and also reference Jan 2017 dates ... that lines up perfectly with Wed Jan 25 2017. Unless some other information presents itself, I think you have to go with that as the date.
