I've always kept them as one big continuity in my head. I mean, it's no more difficult to make DGG's trilogy fit in with the previous sequels as it is to make H5 fit in with H1.

I'm pretty sure ALL tie-in material contradicts the films. The films contradict each other. Most of the films even contradict THEMSELVES. Blatant continuity errors are as gratuitous in slashers as gore and nudity are. It's a part of their DNA. Some are more egregious than others, of course...

That's something that's been on my back-burner for years. I'd include Evil Dead with it, though, since Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash is a pretty blatant cross-over and not just a random appearance of a mask, glove or book.

I've been toying with doing this for years. I was always fascinated by the overlapping episodes and wondered how well they all fit. I too only made it through the first season, though.

Yeah, all of it is a mess, which is why I only stick to the remake universe for any real sense of continuity. I've been reading here for years, and new to posting, but perhaps I'll past a TCM'03 timeline soon.

The only TCM timeline that could be done would be the remake timeline, which has 2 movies, 1 novelization and 18 comic books. The original timeline has too many contradictions to make any sense of it.
