This was on x-fan website about the Ultimate panel: There is an Ultimate Captain America series planned, but far, far in the future. Late 2006 at the earliest. The Ultimate universe is being planned 2-3 years in the future.

I bet it was part of the reason it was moved. McNiven will probably go straight into doing the NA issues to be free for the year long UXM run. I hope BKV is staying around.
