    Ultimate Marvel Timeline / Chronology (v. 3.0)

The problem with placing any of the Ultimates-related books is that we can easily figure out where they fit in relation to each other (MTU appearances, Volume 1, Six, Galactus Trilogy, Volume 2), it's pretty much impossible to figure out where they fit in relation to every other book. Damn...

Ultimates & Ultimate X-Men Handbook revelations.... SPOILERS

So: There's falsified backstories for anybody related to SHIELD ready for public consumption (assumedly SHIELD has them for Fury, the X-Men, every Ultimate except maybe Cap, the FF, etc)...but there's little-to-no point in having those backstories held up within the group, since lying about...

Peter Parker expelled from high school?

The gym class was an option, probably, but one that Peter needed credit in. Let's say he had 19 credits and that gym class he enrolled in was worth 1 credit. In this instance, the credit from the gym class would be REQUIRED for him to graduate. My degree requires I take a selected number of...

    Ultimate Iron Man #4 (Spoilers)

This series hurts my head, and I'm only buying it because I'm a completist.

    Ultimate Ages

Not to add more fuel to the fire, but I recall either Bendis, Jemas or Quesada saying that the point of Ultimate was to ditch the needlessly complicated continuity without losing the essences of the characters. Character ages were never really mentioned as a reason, since Marvel's only aged...

Brian K. Vaughan & Tom Raney on upcoming Ultimate X-Men Annual?

Well, rumor had it that they were gonna do something to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Ultimate Universe...so, a pair of annuals (Vaughan & Raney on X-Men and Bendis & Brooks on Spider-Man) seem to be in the cards.

Brian K. Vaughan & Tom Raney on upcoming Ultimate X-Men Annual?

When asked on the Bendis Board whether or not the rumor was true, Bendis answered in a dodging way that made it seem as though the answer is "Yes". So, I'd expect Annuals from X-Men & Spider-Man sometime in late summer or early fall. Link to BBoard Thread

Mike Carey & Jae Lee to precede Millar & Land on Ultimate Fantastic Four for 2 issues

From Millarworld: 19-20: [W] Mike Carey, [A] Jae Lee 21-32: [W] Mark Millar, [A] Greg Land Land can only do, like, 11 books a year...so giving him an extra month means there's no risk of a fill-in. This is from Millar's...uh...keyboard, so it seems legit.

    ultimate beast

Duh. SHIELD probably has Banner & Pym working on an reversal formula for being crushed by Sentinels. Plus...we never saw WHAT they buried in that coffin...

The Ultimate continuity hits just keep on coming...

Who knows that Ross is still alive? I assume high-level SHIELD folk like Fury would know...but who else?

The Ultimate continuity hits just keep on coming...

I'm assuming that the FF portion of the Super Special will be explained away. We've seen everything else from Team-Up referenced in Spider-Man except for the FF portions, so I'm just going to drink heavily and try to forget that those events ever took place.

    Unresolved Plot Threads

Remember than the Elektra series took place at least 6 or 7 years before the Spider-Man arc. So...do you really expect the Kingpin of friggin' Crime to remember people who he used to get ahead 7 years before??

The Ultimate continuity hits just keep on coming...

Bendis said on his boards that only Team-Up #9 is out of continuity and said flat-out that the Spider-Man Super Special is still canon. So...this just makes my head hurt.
