Can't say I'm too pumped about this. I'll read it out of my obsessive compulsive-ness for everything Ultimate nonetheless, but eh...:?

I dig Ultimate Doom. He's definitely a change of pace. Took me some getting used to in the first Doom arc, but by the time I saw the cover for 30 I was sold. Can't wait to read it.

I thought the backstory was interesting enough. I've never been much of fan of JRJ's artwork(I only really like when he works on Spider-Man), but nonetheless I was entertainted.

Thanks for the welcomes. :) Heh, y'know, I wouldn't put it past Cap actually saying something like that with "trying to be hip and cool" in mind.

I'd rationalize it as Cap slowly adapting and getting used to the modern era.
