Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

I always felt that made more sense anyway.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

I’m in the same boat. If it was just keeping up the timeline it’d be fine, but I just don’t have the time to meticulously edit in chapter times.

Like I said there’s nothing specifically saying they went off that form. There’s plenty of times where we ignore a background date. Especially one that was only on screen for a second.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

The wiki got a lot of its dates from the movies themselves so it isn't really a surprise they line up for the most part. The only thing I can think of that's specific to the wiki is the Defenders shows on the Disney + timeline but that's because I don't think they put the same care in making...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

It doesn’t mention anything about the release papers. All it says is that Selvig referenced 616 on the chalkboard before being released on November 11th, 2013. If you look at the movie beginning on the day it came out, you would be on the 11th by the time Selvig’s released so the date obviously...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

I mean most of their placements are seasons based around when said movie came out or if there’s evidence that says otherwise. If the book had something like the wiki’s October 17th for the Endgame battle rather than just Fall 2023, I’d give you that. But, for the most part it seems based off...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

I mean a few days doesn't make too big a difference. Plus I wouldn't say they necessarily copied the wiki when the wiki's evidence mainly comes from stuff found in the movies.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

The timeline book says he was released from treatment on November 11th, 2013. If it weren't for that I'd agree to use the 14th, but I'd say the book trumps it. Especially since the date is only briefly shown on the form.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

Yeah as an Easter egg. But, people expected characters in unrelated projects to drop what they were doing and acknowledge it.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

Yeah, the world doesn't stop just because we don't see something. Reminds me of everyone complaining about no reference to Tiamut for years when Brave New World showed us that things were happening offscreen with it. Like I don't need NWH to casually drop a "crazy about that head sticking out of...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 4)

I’m expecting it’ll all happen offscreen.
