Alright then. I should also note that, while we don't have a specific year for it yet, we know that the Sgt. Rock movie involves the WWII French resistance, which would place it between 1940-1944 specifically. Maybe that isn't specific enough to add yet though.
Alright, that's fair.
Out of curiosity, by the way, where do you think Clayface would likely be put on the timeline? This isn't something we can add yet obviously, but I'm curious to see what people think since this is another origin prequel story (presumably set before Creature Commandos)...
No, I'm saying that Gunn's statements weren't conclusive enough. In some of the DCU Recap teasers for S2 posted on the DC YouTube channel, some clips clearly showed Murn's face. The reason Gunn said it was because of his new rule that DCU actors should stick to one character in live action, in...
That's fine, I understand where you guys are coming from. I certainly won't be making a separate DCU timeline of my own out of spite lol. Just felt like giving my own thoughts given how in-flux things are during the early stages of this new universe.
What, the events shown at the start of Peacemaker S2 that exactly match the first season (excluding like, 2 retcons) don't verify the canonicity of the first season? That's silly to me, given that James Gunn has also specifically outlined everything that is or isn't canon in the first season...
I think you may as well include The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker S1 and Blue Beetle on here too since those three are all virtually canon to the DCU. Technically they're not DCU material, but enough is confirmed canon from TSS and Peacemaker S1 to warrant their inclusion here imo, and Blue Beetle...
What's your reasoning behind plaving Jason Goes To Hell and FvJ in July 2001 and March 2003 respectively? I was under the presumption that that they were both set in June/September 2003.
They're all of very questionable canonicity at best, with one exception (that being the Marvel crossover from a while back, which is confirmed to be canon to the 616 universe). I'd say the crossovers should be excluded unless otherwise stated.
Would anyone like to give their thoughts on this? I'm wondering if there's anything I should change or add that I'm missing.
If you aren't already familiar with Crime Directive, I would highly recommend checking them out. Their videos are absolutely golden.
Ah right, interesting. Was this referring to the 1990 film though? Pretty sure that's a separate continuity, as it's very clearly meant to be a contemporary setting.
