Boles' ID Card issued 2005. His Asylum bio says he's been working for 8 years at the Asylum. Taking this information, Arkham Asylum takes place in 2013. If Frank is hired right as the Asylum reopens, Arkham Origins would take place in 2003 or 2004, City in 2014, Knight in 2015 and SS:KTJL in 2020.

Where do we stand on www.ArkhamCare.com ? The real-world site created as marketing for Arkham Asylum in 2009. Is information revealed on there to be considered canon?

Arkham Knight's comics already contradict what happens to Bane so I wouldn't be surprised if that entire run can be written off. I haven't finished the game yet however, *certain elements* have really disappointed me and this franchise.

I always took 10 years to be an estimate because the fire crew also state that Firefly hit about 10 years ago. I used the dates given in the comics “Friday 1 October” to align with years with that date. The comics are of limited canonicity, but Arkham is consistently dodgy with its timeline.

I see. The technology is far too advanced to be the 80s-90s however this is the world of superheroes after all. I’ll have a revision and see what I think.
