My thoughts exactly cause if we take that into account ir brings up all kinda issues with Hulk being champion while the Battle of NY happened a few days ago and then that brings into question when the Sakaar parts of Ragnarok happen and it's just...that's a rabbit hole lol

i agree, in ragnarok characters like man-thing and beta ray bill are shown to be previous champions as well, while it's still possible thats part of teds backstory after his appearance in wbn it doesnt seem likely and if brb does ever make an appearance i doubt theyll refer to him being a champion either

are we sure this is two separate realities or could it be more like s01e04 where there are two timelines occurring in the same reality? with characters from the present 2018 being sent back to their own 1602 in a contained loop sort of way due to the time stone's effects like in doctor strange with dormammu or like in infinity war when thanos reverses the destruction of the mind stone? im open to them being two separate realities but just wanted to share my thoughts

The wiki states it does, we're using the wiki numbers, it doesn't really make a difference, so... I'd personally just go with it. It could go either way. I'm sure when the Appendix is updated we'll know.

Weirdly, they consider the new Strange Supreme universe to be the same reality. Marvel Wiki moment, lol.

here's what the appendix says regarding s1e3:

Note: Despite multiple instances of time-travel, Strange�s efforts leading to Palmer dying in different ways and even a divergent version of Strange being present, all events in the episode apparently happen within the same Universe, as indicated by The Ancient One. This could be explained by the Time Stone enabling time-travel and changes in reality without causing a multiversal divergence. Alternatively, several more AUs for each �Death of Christine Palmer� would need to be described.
 
They haven't been designated yet. We only have the wiki numbers.

Shit, I just realised I said the wrong thing before, lol. I meant the wiki says so, not the Appendix. TRN numbers are not official (though sometimes they are made semi-official due to incompetence, lol). Must have been confusing when I said "when the Appendix is updated", lol.
 
ahh ok that's kind of what i thought lol, i don't mind sticking with what the wiki has for now but i definitely think we should be open to changing it later if so designated as it's not really 100% clear within the episode itself, they specially mention Wanda pulling Carter from a neighboring universe but all references to the current day of 1602 are vague at best

Btw I also agree with what everyone else is saying about the placement of WI S02E07 being closer to 965 BC and that if I had to choose which event to base its timeline placement on, I'd probably say Hela's banishment sometime soon before Thor is born, rather than Wen Wu finding the 10 rings in roughly 1000 BC.
 

Okay, so now I can rub it in anyone's face that I'm right and I always have been and you have to accept that if you're a non-canoner it's a head-canon? lol, Marvel are doing the same thing here.

I mean, I've already retired from canon arguments now because it's gotten to the point where it is literally absurd to think otherwise. This teaser is pretty inarguable. They want us to know it's the same versions. Deal with it.

I have to admit I've been on the fence. I've not wanted to say it's definitely not canon but they also shook my faith because of how long it took them to do shit like this. Like Winderbaum said in the interview yesterday, he admitted shit was fucky there for a bit. But his confidence yesterday in straight up saying he personally could say yes gave me hope. Then of course the interviewer from yesterday said in a tweet that another producer said otherwise and I was like "fuckin of course cause we can't have a step forward without having something take a step back". But that teaser is pretty fucking damning evidence that at the very least the Netflix stuff is holding up in the main MCU. Very interested to see if we do end up getting Luke Cage and Iron Fist making a return soon too.
