DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Interesting thought I had…

If the DCEU represented the Old Gods (specifically the Greek Pantheon) then the DCU might represent the New Gods.

Through Peacemaker.
I don't think he is Orion reincarnated in a traditional sense, but Gunn has said he is keeping Chris' mother a closely-kept secret. We also know the QUC might be New Gods tech in origin, so there are some things they are setting up there.

Especially how easily Chris understood how the QUC tech worked, even as a kid supposedly.

kind of off topic but anyone able to find any info on the peacemaker season 2 score by clint mansell and kevin kiner? all im seeing is the soundtrack album, kind of odd that we're almost a week out and its still not streaming yet

DC Database seems to have settled on Pre-Crisis DCEU as Earth-52 (aka "Earth-N52", between Earth-51 and Earth-X).

It was supposed to be the DCEU when that reality showed up, so I get the connection.

Like having multiple Donnerverses and Burtonverses along with Earth N52 being the same as the comics universe

To be fair, I think Wonder Woman's clay origin is more comparable to Batman's parents dying and Superman's planet exploding than Batman's yellow oval. It kinda represents the core themes of the character, since she's born from purely womanhood/motherhood and maternal love... but well, I guess it's not the only version of Diana even still. I just think it's important. I don't really like making her just another one of Zeus' many bastard children personally.

You can have versions of Batman and Superman with wildly different origins that still feel like them, so it's... fine... but kinda lame.
