I read a direct quote from Tarantino placing it in the Movie-Movie Universe... even though that's dumb. I mean, you can "death of the artist" it if you want.

Sure! Buuut... for consistency... Back to the Future comics kinda have to be added.
 
Also, Back to the Future comics add Transformers (albeit the comic crossover is set in a timeline that diverges just before the end of the first movie).
