No no, it's fine. Don't apologise. I'd rather people tell me what they miss than not tell me what I've missed... if that makes any sense at all.

I meant for in the movie. What exactly places it after GTA VI's release?
There's a November calendar. It's set 30 years after Scream (1996). Tatum, Hannah and Chloe talk about having a party later that night while walking to school, which makes it most likely a Friday. That leaves the 5th, 13th and 20th as viable dates. The Scream wiki chooses November 19th, which I'm choosing to believe.

The movie reinforces that Scream (1996) happens in 1996, Scream 2 happens in 1997, and Scream (2022) happens in 2022. I think it's obvious Scream (2022) was retconned to be the 26th anniversary of the original murders rather than the 25th, so the reporter just mispoke at the end of the film. The days of the week in that film and Scream VI don't match, but... I'm just going to assume it's typical View Askewniverse weirdness. The days of the week match 100% until they don't.

Was looking more into the Plants vs Zombies series since it might be part of this canon. Apparently it sorta connects to other PopCap games? So Peggle, Zuma, I think maybe one or two others.

This is just really funny if we do assume this is all canon to View Askew. Just imagine telling a first time viewer of this universe that you have to start with Zuma. "Yes this game where you play as a frog protecting an ancient civilization from evil gods is totally going to be important when you watch Dogma, totally."

There's nothing that really suggests All Hallows' Eve 2's types are supernatural in the movie itself. Same with All Hallows' Eve: Trickster. All Hallows' Eve: Inferno, though, doesn't even have proper tapes. Noted, though.

Yeah. I'm just saying since retroactively they decided they were canon. I do wonder how the individual short film creators feel about that or if they have any thoughts on it at all

Since I can't actually edit the timeline at all in earlier parts (@Blackbeard :(), I guess I'll just put Drawing Flies here.

A deleted scene in Paradise Records references Clerks II and Clerks III, specifically how they lost the store and then Dante.

I guess you'd then be asking if Funworld licenced content is the same universe. If yes, well, hypothetically, what if they got the Ghostface licence for Scary Movie 6? 😂
"The popular horror parody Scary Movie is back with an interesting movie marketing campaign. With the movie hitting theaters on June 5, Wayans Bros. Entertainment has launched a website called Subservient Ghostface, where you type a command and watch the masked killer carry it out on screen."

Jays of Future Past did the most confusing thing... it canonized Marvel heroes as genuinely existing in this continuity. 😂 That literally recontexualises everything.

Milly suggests they might be imagining things at the end, so I don't know. They reference events from all across the franchise so either they were having a drug-induced hallucination or, apparently, this whole franchise sorta also occurs on Earth-616. 😂

Options
1. The View Askewniverse is Earth-616. Marvel heroes were fictional before the Age of Heroes began.

2. All the events of the View Askewniverse happened in Earth-616 but instead of Marvel being fictional, they're real.

3. The View Askewniverse is set on Earth-616C... or Earth-616D, maybe. 😂

4. This is an in-universe comic book within the View Askewniverse that happens to be canon within Earth-616.

I have no idea how else to make sense of any of it.

It can't be set in present day Earth-616 because Magneto, Emma and Pyro are still evil and Kamala isn't shown with her mutant powers... but it's set in 2026 within the View Askewniverse narrative side.

We can explain this by saying that on Earth-616, the latest View Askewniverse movies took place earlier than they actually did. While reading, I thought the one-shot took place in Marvel's 2000s era, but due to Kamala's appearance, it should be at least after the 2014 comics.

It's funny to think that Dogma happened on Earth-616, lol
