yea and if they’re shifting their plans to introduce the character here it makes sense why they would cut all direct references to the character from madame web
exactly, even with peter being 10 in venom 3 (if that’s true) set in 2020, kraven would be max 50s around when peter would become spider-man which was his age when he debuted in the comics
i feel like all the references to spider-man in morbius were removed intentionally once it was delayed past the point of them introducing the crossover between the mcu and ssu in nwh; on that note the peter in venom 3 could also be a variant what with sonys seeming insistence on using that...
thats just referencing the fact that in the comics kraven eventually becomes a spider-man villain and this is his origin, not that hes fought spider-man in the ssu lol
i just dont see how you can rationalize these 90s dates with “the near future” being at least 2000, and i personally still apply the directors “present day” comments to the 2020 release of the new mutants
thank you but im actually referring to this (albeit terrible) series, these are the only dceu-set comics other than the secret files of the suicide squad which never got a digital release that i cant find anywhere
seeing as someone was able to find a piece of what they thought was lost media here in another thread i thought i’d reach out and see if anyone has pdf copies of serving up justice issues 2-4?
just a few loose thoughts regarding the foxverse:
i believe that the fox timelines work differently than the mcu in that travel between branches is possible without creating a new one, whether this is due to the method of time travel being different or if it will even be addressed im not sure...
there is also a june date on the korean news broadcast at the end of the film, so maybe something like this:
- aquaman 2 - may-october 2022, june 2023
- the flash - september 2022
- blue beetle - june 2023, after aquaman 2
