Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Like I said I don’t consider something officially released by the studio as a spoiler. Simple as that. It isn’t like I intentionally was seeking out some leak. There’s a clear difference.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Exactly the way I see it. If it's something they're intentionally revealing in marketing then I wouldn't consider it a spoiler.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I wouldn't call it movie ruining. If anything it makes me wonder what surprises they actually are saving.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I mean October 2026 makes perfect sense so either way it works. But I do believe the comment was referring to Agatha in Westview for 3 years.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

It’s already been said the show is set 3 years after WandaVision and 2026 also fits with the MCU’s Present Day.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

No where is it said Secret Invasion is two years. In fact they refer to him being on Saber for “a few years” without returning to Earth which would imply at least three. At this point I think it’s safe to trust the Disney + timeline and I see no reason to contradict it.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

The funny thing is The Winter Soldier takes place around that time and since it shot in Summer there’s no cherry blossoms.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

They’ve done a pretty decent job so far. I think people internally are keeping track of it. I mean Daredevil: Born Again shows a calendar that matches with 2027.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I mean it was, but I don’t think it’s made a difference since they haven’t been. I’d rather things be spaced out rather than jumbled together just so the timeline can catch up.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I’d be surprised if we caught up. The only reason we’re caught up to 2 now is the strikes. I don’t really see the need to anyway. Nothing’s really gained having the MCU set in our real time. Maybe after Secret Wars, they’ll take the opportunity to have present day match again, but until then...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Fingers crossed that October 13 is the actual date that scene is taking place and the series is that easy with its timeline. The weather does fit Fall and I could see Halloween playing a role in the show. They’ve also said it’s been 3 years since WandaVision so October 2026. Hopefully, Disney +...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I disagree. I feel it would be convoluted to just act like the team's been in the main universe the entire time and never brought up. Also, them being in an alternate universe opens up what they can do with their worldbuilding and backstory. Chances are the movie's going to end with Galactus...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Don't feel bad. When I had to redo my timeline and typed in the thread on my computer, it would always take me to Part 2 and there were a few times I noticed something felt off only to realize it was because I was in Part 2.

The Boys (TV Series) - Timeline

I agree, I'm just saying the fact dates usually match Present Day when it internally doesn't fit, show there's a sliding timeline.

The Boys (TV Series) - Timeline

I mean the show has always seemed to have the belief each season is set in the release year. For example, Gen V showing 2019 for the flight in S1, S2 having September 30th, 2020 or Translucent's death in 2020, S4 having 2023 & 2024 dates. I don't see how it isn't a sliding timeline when they...

The Boys (TV Series) - Timeline

The show has always seemed to have a sliding timeline, so this isn't a surprise sadly.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Still got nothing, sadly. At least with Disney + confirming it's before Ragnarok we'll know for certain how long the jump is from Season 3 to Born Again.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

I sadly lost my personal timeline document and had to redo it, so figured it'd be a good time to home in on the Netflix shows. I still struggle with some placements like Defenders before Civil War and therefore having Fall/Winter weather in May, but it is what it is. I know they just copied the...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 3)

Also, there's a reference to it being Sunday in 2x06 of Jessica Jones in a scene that's currently dated on a Friday. I'd just move the stuff with Jessica visiting the aquarium in 2x05 so that it ends Saturday instead of Thursday. New placements would be: 2x05- May 8th-13th 2017 2x06- May...
