Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

For me personally, Fall/Winter 2014 has the stronger evidence. Stuff like meeting “several” months ago is vague enough that I think even if it’s close to a year it can work. TBH, it’s really personal preference since there really isn’t much difference between say October-December 2014 or...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

Yeah, I don't feel like weather is always a go to. Especially when there's hard evidence to contradict it. I do feel like for the most part the Netflix shows had a they were taking place around the time they were filmed mentality. Of course that had to change with the seasons shot after Infinity...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I've always personally liked DDS1 in Fall/Winter 2014. The show filmed from July to December 2014 and with the weather starting out warmer and getting cooler it's always made more sense to me. Plus Karen's line of "the last two years" when talking about since The Battle of New York and the last...

Sorry, I'm just now seeing this but looks good.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

Curious where you got your dates. Like I said Homecoming makes it pretty clear that Tony took Peter for the weekend and the extended video journal shows the day after the airport is Saturday.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

Tried to leave this as a Conversation but for some reason it wouldn't let me. The timeline book confirms Civil War as Spring 2016, so the latest it should be is Mid-June. May 3rd, 2016- Lagos/Tony at MIT (matching the real world date of the WHIH breaking news tweet) June 12th, 2016- Ross...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I personally have Civil War beginning in Mid-June since the timeline book refers to it as Spring 2016, Black Widow as Spring-Summer 2016, and Black Panther as just Summer 2016. We know that Tony takes Peter for the weekend which would mean the airport battle should fall on a Friday (June 17th)...

DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Knowing how Gunn talks, I just take him to mean Earth-2 as a second Earth rather than an official designation.

DC Extended Universe / DC Universe - Timeline

Got a little worried when they showed snow and mentioned the cold in the opening scene, but then that "6 Months Later" lined up perfectly. Also appreciated the confirmation that the scene was January and Superman was "Summer" (I'd consider late May to technically be Summer).

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I think the key difference is Feige wanted Daredevil from the beginning before Perlmutter gave it to Loeb. Plus he seemed to be a fan of Cox and D'Onofrio and knew how much fans did too so it was easy for him to bring them back. Plus the Netflix shows didn't shake up the overall world as much as...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I mean I watched and enjoyed the show and for now do lean to it being canon, but I think it's fair why others may not. I just don't get the hostility from both sides over it. I still very much doubt it's ever relevant again in the future of the MCU so all this back and forth over a show that had...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

And I’m making a valid prediction that it stays Fall 2024 like the timeline book and therefore Marvel Studios tells us. Until we hear anything contradictory (there’s nothing that says we ever will) there’s nothing more official.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

If Marvel wasn’t sure that’s where they wanted the scene to be, I doubt they would have confirmed it in the book. You’re automatically assuming down the line they’re going to change their mind when there’s nothing pointing to that beyond you simply not liking where they say it is.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I was speaking in reference to the MoM credit scene that Dallas Kinard assumes Marvel Studios is going to change their mind on. Like if they didn’t want it to still be Fall 2024, they wouldn’t have put it as that in the book. Plain and simple.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I doubt Predator's there as any timeline hint. Movies get rereleased in theaters all the time without it being related to their anniversary. And if Marvel Studios were to say anything that contradicted the leaves, like they did with the timeline book and Multiverse of Madness, it'd be another...

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I think it’s kinda funny they got the day of the week right on this flyer which at most is probably seen in the background, yet the invitation that gets focused on in BNW has the wrong day.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

I was expecting it pick up right after anyway. Plus with when its filming, continuing from Spring to around Summer 2027 makes sense. Thunderbolts being in the Fall gives them a pretty big gap to wrap up the Fisk mayor stuff before Sentry happens.

It's very easy. There are two Daily Planet newspapers focused on that are dated Monday, May 19th and Thursday, May 22nd matching 2025.

Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline (Part 5)

That's exactly how the book explains it. Phase 1 has some timeline issues no matter what and retconning certain things or flat out ignoring them is the only way to have it make sense. It's why Iron Man could potentially fit in 2008, 2009, or 2010.
