The issue would then be that Castle Rock isn't located in Maine in Stand by Me, but that's not an uncommon continuity error to be fair.

I think that Castle Rock makes Stand by Me, The Dark Half, and Needful Things probably non-canon due to Alan Pangborn and Ace Merrill. Even Misery, which I've included at the moment, is questionable by it's very nature.

The timeline setting doesn't match. The book is a sequel to unseen events that resemble Dracula but where it happened much earlier in the past.
