    Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline

It's really interesting. I wonder if we're close to approaching 'levels of canonicity' yet, what with all the various publications and media used? Could end up going down the whole Holocron route in the future.

Although what Kevin Feige said might suggest that CA:TWS should be moved to May 2014 which is more in line with it's theatrical release than the date shown during Batroc's interrogation which places it in Octover 2013??

Except that all that evidence comes from one source. Agent of Bloomin' SHIELD! I've scoured the net and IM3 for a reference to say that it comes six months after but have never found anything definite. I've watched IM3 loads of times hoping to catch it and even read/searched the script to no...

Personally - if you can squeeze it in between films - I would also put The Consultant after IM2 along with A Funny thing Happened... Simply because Stark is made a consultant at the end of IM2. And for what its worth I still think that, even though going for a chronological order is fun...

Yeah it's Bucky's display piece in the museum. At the top in the title it gives his birth year and then in the main body of the text it gives another birth year!?!? Someone needs to do a proof reading course! :P

That prop anchronism particularly stinks - cos it has two different dates ON THE SAME PROP! Brilliant!!

    Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline

Ouch! That means there is another contradiction by the MCU. Using the report in Agent Carter One-Shot, the date on that is the 14 of March, 1946. But according to this series (which admittedly I haven't seen yet) the last episode takes place in May, 1946. As an aside if you are...

I'd also add that as an after credit sequence the scene with Volstagg and Sif delivering the Aether to Tivan could have happened pretty much at anytime. We know that when Coulson finds Mjolnir at the end of IM2 that it is basically a flashback in that film. I can't scene any reason why that...

Aha! Just seen this!! A quick answer to this quick question - The newpaper running the story is dated the 17th so I assumed the car 'accident' occurred the previous day (the 16th). Simples! :o)

    Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline

All this news raises so many questions - especially for us timeline nerds. Does this mean all TASM stuff is now canon?? Is Garfield still in? Or are we getting our third spiderman in 10 years?? Is Black Panther out of Civil War? To be honest - just cos there have been so many Spiderman films...

    Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline

To sound a little bit boring in terms of order of watching the films I like to watch them in theatrical release date order and I would suggest that to a newbie coming to the MCU for the first time. The way it sets stuff up and teases other elements it works really well. At home I'm lucky enough...

    Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline

Absolutely. I've seen the headache the first episode of Agent Carter has given you. I think, in the furture, when it comes to my timeline I am going to reference all 'evidence' even if it contradicts other events. In that sense it will become more of a discontinuity guide as well as a continuity...

    Marvel Cinematic Universe - Timeline

Heya, The Thor question is a very good one - and one that doesn't have a particularly satisfactory answer - but blame Marvel Studios not me! Basically I try to source my dates as much as possible from onscreen info and dialogue and use that as evidence to build my timeline (very much...

Hiya all, Long time reader - first time contributor of this thread. I'm the chap who put together the Tiki-Toki MCU timeline (which I've seen has been discussed a few times). Thought I would stick my head above the parapet and really commend you guys on all the hard work you've put in...
