There a few sites out there that have dating for the various alien novels. The predator ones are a little more vague but there are also less of them.

I totally missed the Weyland-Yutani logo on her eyes! Very interesting... I was wondering about the year too. Now we just need them to adapt the original AvP comic...lol

I think the character is supposed to be a cyborg or enhanced human, at least based on some videos I've seen regarding the movie. But I did see a post showing a Weyland-Yutani sign on a vehicle in the trailer.

I think Clive Barker contributed to them but they may have been advertised as sequels to the first 2 movies. It's been quite awhile since I read them.
