They built mounds of dirt that look like pyramids. And AVP indicated that predators were behind pyramid worship structures. Therefore, I believe if the movie is in fact set in the midwest....
Mississippian culture will be revealed to have worshipped the predators.

ComingSoon.net is reporting that 20th Century Fox has updated the title for the Alien vs. Predator sequel, coming to theaters on Christmas Day. It's really simple, just add an "s"...
