On Joker, I placed the ending 20 years later based on the insinuation that Arthur knows that he created the Batman. He looks a little older to me as well.

I don't really accept the idea the whole film is made up. If you do, that's fine, but it would feel like a waste of time to me.

The Batman has zero connection to the DCEU or the Joker film at this time, described as separate to both. However, given that it will have a contemporary setting and won't focus on the origin story, I feel that down the line they could connect to Joker, loose or otherwise. Right now, both are standalone universes and will and should be treated as such.

I'd make it about 15 years or so IMO. Joker doesn't look that much older and Bruce would be in his early 20s by that time. So I put it in the early to mid 90s for now.

Given that he's round 9 in the film, I'd expect Bruce to be 25-30 as Batman, assuming we wanted to make the flashback as short as possible, so 1997-2002. If Arthur realised that Bruce is Batman in his first couple years, he's smarter than I thought.

Arthur was born in 1949. He'd be 32 during the film and 48-53 in the ending. Can't really work around that anyway.

Probably, but that's the nature of standalone films.

They did mention it as a part of the live-action multiverse, so pahaps it could get a nod in The Flash to confirm it as such.

Matt Reeves seems to be building a Batman universe of his own. Considering that they're ignoring the origin story, they could totally retcon Joker into that reality. DC Fandome repeated that it's separate, however, and I'm not sure if Phoenix would be up for a followup, so I massively doubt it, but it's still a personal hope.

Eh, I don't know, honestly. Take that as you will. I don't know how he could spoil a movie he hasn't seen, but I don't know why Warner Bros would lie about continuity.
 
Apparently that Joker movie is getting two sequels, and some folks are theorizing it may play into the Joker's "multiple choice" origins for each film. Different story for each movie.

Meaning, if that turns out to be the case, none of the Joker films are 100% canon and mainly serve as an idea...One of them could be true, but we'll never know which one; which I think is brilliant.

It's being reported by the mirror, which is a bit of a tabloid, but it seems believable.

I like that idea. It almost suggests each film is a "joke" that the real Joker has come up with. You could even end it stating that all films together show a collective history, they've just been altered into a completely different story, which leaves the viewer asking what's real and what's not.

If that happens, I'll just designate each film as [Potential Arthur Fleck History], [Potential ???? History], etc.
