A dbz MMORPG has been announced in Japan and will hopefully get an english realse





  • You are free to do whatever
  • You can interact with other players
  • You can add new characters / events as time goes on by downloading new maps, characters, etc.
  • You can mix & match elements to create characters
  • You can have your character start out as a child and grow up over time
  • The game is set around 200 years after the end of DBZ (circa Age 1000)
  • Beta version comes out in Korea in 2007, with the Japanese release (and final Korean release) coming in 2008

I want there to be saiyans have it so you can SSJ-SSJ3 otherwise they are loosing one of the key things about dbz


I want to know how the dragonballs will be handled.

yeah but there is no way of doing a good mmorpg with out ****ing with the continuity. My guess it will be non-cannon like GT and the movies. I never look at games as cannon only fun.


As long as it's fun i'll get it. I want to make a Saiyan and rise to SSJ3 (or ssj4 if they add GT things since its 200 years after Z it is also after GT)


The dragonballs I just thought as much as GT was not cannon they should follow or do the GT type thing where the dragonballs no longer work.

Oh of course there is a way to not **** up continuity. Just see Star Wars galaxies pre-CU (ok they ****ed up a little, but not as much as NGE). It is the best MMO I've played in my life, but they just destroyed it. I was already force-sensitive, I busted my *** in that game doing boring things (Nym themepark sucks) and then NGE shows up and I dont get any consolation prize. They should let Jedi as one of those impossibgle things to achieve, it gives the game a purpose. I think they should do it with Sayans too. If you level your guy to the max and do some impossible missions, then you can create a sayan character.

I disagree because saiyans can start off weak-ish Goku at one point was weaker than piccolo

However i think you should do the hard missions ect... you were talking about to become a SSJ.

One thing that would be cool is if you have a tail and see the full moon :lol: :lol:

But yeah i think even if you are not a dbz fan this game could still be good fun you.

Also the last mission to be SSJ should be defeat someone of friezas race. Another cool advantage to been sayian is getting stronger after every injury so the more you fail the the better chance you have

In my idea, Sayans would start really weak too (Lv1, same as the others) now as you level up, you could get into SSJ1 to SSJ3 (NO GT PLEASE!) Then it would be cool to see a 2 x 1 against a SSJ3 Sayan or even some race that is made as the best against Sayan (Just like Bounty hunters in SWG were not good in PVE but rocked Jedis...).

That feature sound nice and adds alot to how much you evolve
 
IF it comes to America, I'll check it out. I'm a big DB/DBZ fan. GT. . .not so much, so I hope they leave SSJ4/GT's story out of it.

I don't want GT either as it is non-canon however i want the GT dragonballs no longer work thing to make it work right. I only mentioned SSJ4 in a previous post because I think they will most likely add it.
