ROUND ENDS JANUARY 3rd 2008

THE RULES------------------------
1) The winner of the last round becomes the moderator of the round, and thus gets to choose the property or story in question to be adapted. Winner may also declare whether this property is an animated film, or a live-action one. He must also name the core characters to be cast, which should be at least 4, but no more than 9.

2) You may not use actors who have played the role before in the same medium before. Voice talents may not reprise their role, nor can film ones.

3) After ten days, the round is declared closed. People will vote via PM and send it to the moderator, who will count the votes and declare winner. Like the Ultimatization Game, you CANNOT vote for yourself.

4) The winner declared gets to choose the property in the next round.

I think Annihilation was more epic in scale and cool for the fact that it used the B and C-list of the Marvel cosmic-verse. Sinestro Corps just killed because of the character driven plots and such. Both proove that cosmic events are cooler than "Earth shattering" events.

Ravenous: David Morse remember his in House M.D.as the cop who wants House in jail. this determination his voice has (I must admit in the german synchronisation).

Haven't read and I'm not familiar with the characters, so i'll be sitting this out.

i highly recommend you check it out, it's really engrossing once you get invested into the story, like TOG said it's way better than it seems, but don't just read the Prologue one-shot while it's a good set up it's the weakest part of the whole event

Annihilation​

Silver Surfer – Cgi voiced by Jason Behr – I wanted the voice to sound like it was a tormented soul but with hope. I know this maybe weird but Jason Behr on roswell was the first one I could see fitting how I think the Surfer should sound.


Super-Skrull – Ray Park Voice – Christopher Lee : Some of Ray Park's best roles were when someone else did his voice e.g Darth Maul. I think he's the right size and has the right look that doing with prosthetics and make up BUT with the deep and some what scary voice of Christopher Lee would create something brilliant.



Nova (Richard Rider) – Ted King – I don't know much about the character but from what I read I had the image of kind of like a lone cop , So I wanted the right person for how I saw him , I looked a lot of actors but in the end I liked Ted King as him. I picked him mainly for him playing Andy on Charmed



Ronan the Accuser – Simon Templeman – I see this character as Kind of like a dark judge if you will. Simon Templeman fits perfectly with that as I wanted someone who make you believe in the character BUT also have a creepy voice to him .


Drax the Destroyer – Christopher Judge – another character I'm not familiar with so I whent based on pictures for this one


Thanos – Michael Clarke Duncan – The more I read about Thanos the more I was convinced the role was custom made for Michael Clarke Duncan , this may be an obvious choice BUT sometimes that's best


Annihilus – Arnold Vosloo – this would need to be motion captured cgi BUT from the Mummy I think this guy works on a level I don't see others working in this role.


Galactus – Cgi voiced by Patrick Stewart – the voice to me needed to be bold and large. He is after almost a god in ways , he can give life , destroy planets. Patrick Stewart's voice is just what I would use for him.


Ravenous – Brian Thompson – Big and intimidating is all I was really looking for here so I chose Brian Thompson

Gamora – Lucy Lawless – the character seems like an evil Xena to me so who better to play her than Xena herself?

And Mole, excellent cast. I like Christopher Judge.

Also, Hellharlequin, I like the CGI-Beowulf idea.

Nova (Richard Rider) - Josh Duhamel

Duhamel hasn't acted in many movies yet, but I think he would be excellent as the last Nova. He played a touch military officer in Transformers that would follow his gut, which is what Nova is.

Silver Surfer - Eric Bana

Ignoring his accent, which he had proven capable. I like Surfer when he seems to have no emotion, while having emotion. If that makes sense. Bana is excellent for what I want.

Super-Skrull - Timothy Olyphant

Super-Skrull is a dick. Olyphant plays excellent dicks. Pretty much all I have. But I do love this choice.

Ronan the Accuser - Ron Pearlman

Imagine Pearlman telling you can accuse. This would be a very serious role and lots of makeup like Hellboy. It's perfect.

Drax the Destroyer - Vin Diesel

It's so obvious that the new Drax is based a lot off Riddick. So it would make sense to have Diesel play him.

Thanos - Laurence Fishburne

Thanos is very calm and threating. Fishburne has the voice and aura to be The Mad Titan.

Annihilus - Willem Dafoe

Make his voice sound more buglike and Dafoe can be very sinister and creepy, like Annihilus is.

Galactus - Clancy Brown

Galactus needs to have a powerful voice. Brown has one of the best voices and he is physically big enough to be Galactus.

Ravenous - Djimon Hounsou

Ravenous is the right hand man of Annihilus and very powerful. The showdown between him and Ronan would epic.

Firelord - Health Ledger

Firelord is very angry. Ledger has lots of range, and has shown a very angry Joker.​

Gamora - Eliza Dushku

The Deadiest Woman in the Universe. I fear Dushku.

Phyla-Vell - Kate Bosworth

Bosworth is a great actress, but she hasn't really done any action role. I think that the new Quasar is a good start.

Moondragon - Monica Bellucci

Phyla-Vell's girlfriend and excellent warrior. I think Bellucci can pull of the bald look and she would look great opposite Bosworth.

Cammi - Ellen Page

Cammi is really, I believe, 12 years old. She can be made a couple years older with no harm. Ellen Page is very cute and I can see annoying Diesel.

Star-Lord (Peter Quill) - Gerard Butler

Butler is no stranger to action, and I don't want to type cast him in straight intense roles. This one is a little different and I think he could do wonders.​
