I'm a person who loves heroes. Always have always will. Why is it, that we have people who love and admire super villains? Seemingly average and sane people. Why do they love super villains more than heroes?

I've always wondered this. Why is there villain workship? If you love ]illains, why do you love them more so than heroes?

I'm very curious to hear your answer.

I like "villains" that are relatable. Even if you don't agree with them philosophically, you can understand why they do what they do and they don't just exist as a plot device.

Ozymandias from Watchmen is a good example of this. Darth Vader is as well, even if the story itself wasn't done as well as it could have been.

Why the quotations on villains? You don't consider what Vader and ozymandais' actions, villainous? You could relate to killing kids or committing to genocide?
