Chainsaw Man, namely the twist near the end of Part 1
where Makima is revealed to be the Control Devil (one of the Four Horsemen).

Attack on Titan has you going in knowing a twist is coming but once it arrives it's so much more complex and layered than you'd ever be able to guess, and there's multiple levels to it that are revealed over time
