Great work, selfishmisery. I have been a huge Marvel Animation fan since X-Men back in the 90s. I actually made a project which combined many Marvel animated shows and films starting in 1981 into a single continuity, by removing a handful of episodes that contradicted one another and using a little fanon to match, say "X-Men" with "Wolverine and the X-Men". I know that they come from many different Earth-#s in official Marvel canon, but this was to create a comprehensive story for my kids.

I have watched a few of the new "Marvel Universe on Disney XD" shows, mostly because I was a huge fan of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. When that show was cancelled in favor of the more movie-style "Avengers Assemble", like many, I was disappointed. But we were promised that Avengers Assemble was a continuation of Earth's Mightiest Heroes. I have not watched all of Avengers Assemble to see if characters are reintroduced as if they have never been seen before or anything like that. However, if Avengers Assemble is in continuity with Ultimate Spider-Man, which seems the intention, then how does one explain the use of Luke Cage and Iron Fist in Earth's Mightiest Heroes? In that series, they are adults and established as "Heroes for Hire", and eventually become members of the "New Avengers" reserve team. In Ultimate Spider-Man, they are teens and work on the SHIELD team with Spider-Man, who is a new hero and still in high school. How would you match these three series?

I prefer the new shows more, but I also get kind of annoyed at animated adaptations of stuff (we already have it drawn you know?) and the newer shows are doing new stuff.

Thanks a bunch. I did my best to make it sure it made as much sense as possible, and helped the many others who had questions about each show's placement chronologically.

There is no official word from Marvel about them sharing the same universe. Regardless of what Jeph Loeb, Chris Yost or Steven Wacker thinks, if Marvel places it within the Earth-8096 reality number, it will be the same continuity and fans would have to figure out their own explanations for the contradictions.

I personally have my own explanations: 1.) Comparing Iron Fist and Luke Cage from EMH and USM is the same as compared the original Batman: The Animated Series character designs to The New Batman Adventures designs. In the case with Batman, the designs become more bulky and less detailed, where as with EMH and USM it's the reverse. Keeping that in mind, they could have always been teenagers in EMH, but the art style would have made them look older.
2.) The Falcon in EMH was never called "Sam Wilson" or even given a real name. AA!Falcon however is named Sam Wilson. He may as well be the second person to take the name "Falcon".

But that's only IF they the official word is given. Until then, I'm not adding WatXM, EMH, Hulk Vs., or Thor: Tales of Asgard to the timeline.

Doesn't that move SMASH up or did he lose it at some point? Why would he want a jet pack when he already has one?
Spider-Man? I see the "Jetpack" thing as simply a recurring joke for MAU. He probably just wants another one. Logically speaking, it would be impossible to move the SMASH series finale up to before Spidey getting the jetpack (in Season 3?) without conflicting the holiday episodes that signify the precise passage of time.

Happens all the time in the comics. That's the best way I can put it. :(

But yeah, Marvel LOVES retconning things.

Season 2 confirmed for GotG
Season 2 will find the Guardians teaming up with The Avengers to stop an evil alien scientist named The High Evolutionary. Our heroes will also discover an ancient weapon with mysterious poweras capable of destroying them and everything they’ve sworn to protect.
Does this mean we need to start looking for a place to fit a 6 year time jump?

Also,
"Marvel Super Hero Adventures: Frost Fight!," a holiday special debuting this December. Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and Captain Marvel star, along with Thor and Reptil. Loki and Ymir are looking for Santa's power, and Groot and Rocket are among those trying to stop them.

Also,
Yeah, I saw that. That's a HUGE time skip. O_O I'm hoping it becomes more clear in the season itself, but continuity for this universe is becoming harder and harder to organize.

The Christmas movie looks really cool. Definitely looking forward to that. ^^

They're also making GotG:Origins-esque shorts for Black Panther, Ms. Marvel and Ant-Man from what I've heard.

Bummer. All that content and characters could have contributed a lot to the animated universe. :(
