Question about the new X- Men "From The Ashes"

I know there are a bunch of comics series coming out, with "X-Men" being the main one.
But I was wondering if the new, for example, "Uncanny X-Men" and "Exceptional X-Men" also as important or are just side stories.
Bare in mind I am fairly new to comics, started back in March.
