Recommend a single creator based on his/her current catalog only

I have a few that I would like to pick, but am not going to break my only rule :)

Choose a single creator (writer or artist) that you would recommend based only on the on-goings they are currently producing. Try to NOT let past creations play into the equation.

I will suggest the front page' sown Rick Remender.

To my knowledge, he is only currently doing two comics, both for Image, and both outstanding...

Black Science and
Deadly Class

These are fantastic projects, and you need to do yourself the favour of checking them out.

Now, you pick :)

Ouch... Which invalidates my recommendation (not because they are good or bad, but just because I'm not reading them).
Well, as I go check those two titles out, anyone want to add a more legitimate and researched recommendation to the world's most inept thread? :)

PS - Thanks, Ice - Both for the info, and the fact that your post could have had much more sarcasm, and I would have deserved every word :)

Pretty Deadly just wrapped up it's first arc and was pretty awesome.
Captain Marvel is the book I would save first in a fire.

No sarcasm in the post. But no worries, man. We've all forgotten thing here an there.

Rick Remender is also writing Captain America and Uncanny Avengers for Marvel.

He's ALSO also writing the Winter Soldier: The Bitter March mini (which Ice just recently informed me was a mini). 2 issues in and it's very good.

Remender would be my pick as well. I would say Remender just based on Uncanny Avengers and Black Science, even though I'm not reading Deadly Class and wasn't even aware of its existence.

I would have liked to say Matt Kindt based on Mind MGMT but his DC stuff has been kind of weak.

Good thread!
