I downloaded an 'invisible' genetics mod, which should make the skin entirely invisible but have yet to apply it. I hear it even makes the clothes invisible.

There is an absolutely brilliant translucent skin available. Makes your sim and all their clothes look like glass. So far I've only seen a green version however.

I need to figure out how to change my Sims genetic structures without having to replace them with entirely new Sims, which is how I converted Ben --- kicked out human Ben and replaced him with orange rocky Ben.

Yes, but I didn't download it because there were people saying that it's still prone to causing some glitches and other oddities. I prefer the InSIMenator. It works nicely for me so far.

I tried, it's a hacked skin and bodyshop can't dismantle the parts that make up the package. Again, SimPE may be able to help, extract the separate elements and then repackage. But I haven't used the app at all so I don't really know what it is capable of.

Yeah, you need insiminator. With this you can refresh all of the Sims needs (motives), and then make them static. No more needing to go to the bathroom or eat or have fun or anything.

I'm thinking of making 8 people, 7 look-a-likes, and one Victor Von Doom. Doom will lock the other seven, kill them, then resurrect them as his zombie army. Then they'll invite the Fantastic Four to Doom's house, and poke them!

Incidentally, I think my problem arises when I package lots. It seems to copy any downloaded material in with the lot, removing it from my downloads folder, or corrupting those that it doesn't move.

Though I haven't tested it yet, I'm locking all my downloads to stop them from being deleted or corrupted before I try anything like that again. Also I'm going to check the file types. I wonder if this 'corruption' of files works on the basis that the Sims app isn't recognising it due to a filetype error, or i is actually rewriting the document in some way. If I do find a solution I shall let you know in case this ever happens to you lot. Though this being a Mac, I'm not sure if this problem is specific to the platform.

Man, I hate being a computer geek.

I'm now in the process of altering the preset houses to make them appropriate for the families I have moved into them. I did start with building my own places but seem to have a shortfall when it comes to building places small enough to handle easily, yet big enough to live in successfully. Mansions, piece of piss, your lowly 2 bedroom place, sodding nightmare.

Hey, since Bass is an architect, or at least knows one, I wonder if he has any tips on building houses for fake people. Just to alleviate his boredom, y'know.

I just installed Nightlife after picking up Pets and Open for Business last year.

Didn't get to play it enough to fiddle with the new features (cars, social interactions) because I don't really have much time today.

However, my female Green Lanterns are STILL sexy.

Generally, most of my superhero skins are courtesy of the excellent superhero skin maker, SynapticSim from ModtheSims2. Of course, I took the skins and textures and built new characters rather than the prefab ones.

I am currently building a new neighborhood from scratch because some random error erased my old neighborhood where I had that very elaborate household of Fantastic Four Sims some of you might remember.

So you know what that means? Fantastic Four Heroes Reborn! OMGLOL!!!111

Ok i spent all day playing this (I'm addicted) , I found a site with downloads so i "pimped my crib" as you kids would say today. I have posters of : buffy , spider-man star wars , dragonball z , x-men , simpsons , shrek , x-men , batman and superman. I have an r2d2 tv , a wii , a 360 , mortal kombat arcade , a mario teddy , a ghostbusters shirt and a venom shirt.


anyway I'm just posting about how great this game is and how ****ed up! I had this before but today was the first time I had truely weird **** happen.

1st) my sim of me went crazy , literally crazy , he was seeing a giant pink bunny who gave him back rubs. Yet when I clicked on other members view there was no bunny! What the hell?

2nd) My sim of me met a girl (awwww) they started dating. Nice isn't it? then we have sex and she gets pregnant here's the thing , no idea if this was a glitch or a mean joke but my baby is black.

Note : Both my sim and the sim of his lover are both white. I .... I think she's cheating on me. How ****ed up is that? a game where she cheats on you and has another man's baby!


So you see it's addictive and compelling (kind of) like my own personal soap opera. I think next I'll buy either night-life or open business expansion packs

Only because in the virtual world you need to concentrate on "feelings" and other crap. No casual sex , no drunken sex , No drunken casual sex , No one night stands. It's unrealistic and I am out of my natural environment
