Ultimate Fantastic Four #34 Discussion (Spoilers)

I didn't even notice what thread this was. Let's get back on topic.

#34 was boring. Just not digging it at all. 1/5

You didn't like Gallowglass? I thought he was cool. And if anyone doesn't like Ronan (unless I say otherwise), I will personally come to your house and pimp slap you. :D

Anyway I liked this issue, as I have said before. Maybe issue 35 will be more to your liking E

You say that now, E, but your mind will be changed when we go into detail with him. Thanos and Ronan....they are father and son. Whats not to like so far?

this book is really picking up and i really like ferry's art so im excited to see what happens next

so it wasn't just me that though that it was skin underneath things rocks neat i wonder if they'll glue it back on

i find the whole seed nineteen thing boring but some of the characters are interesting

is it just me or did gallowglass look as though he was fued with the uni-power wouldn't it be crazy if captain unvierse showed up i would loose it (yes i like captain universe .... shut up)

thanos and ronan should be cool i can't wait to see whats up next

4/5

Haha glue? Maybe he will slowly heal itself and that sounds more likely.

Ronan and Thanos will be cool, and if they aren't, you can punch me.

*goes first in the punching line*

Wow. I don't know how Cary and Ferry (ha! I'm a poet and I didn't know it!) managed to keep up the fantastic quality from the last issue. I may be in the minority, but I thought that #33 was one of the best UFF books yet- and this one was even BETTER. The dialogue, as some have already mentioned, was fantastic; Carey seems to have a real handle on the characters and the science fiction aspect of it.
Also, if I had one complaint about last issue, it was the art; here, the art isn't a problem. In fact, it's fantastic, and very fluid, and extremely unique at the same time.
As I'm sure you can tell, I loved this issue; 4.5/5.

I wish I "got" it. I really do. I dont like being bored by these issues.

It's because it's slow and the characters don't have any backround. That's one of the problems I've noticed with new characters in the UU; they don't have the familiar feeling ultimitized characters have.

It also may be that you don't like where the story is going. Didn't you say that you never particularly liked Thanos?
