Cause there is no need for this film

It will be crap

Stop the fanboyishness of Ghostbusters, will ya

I will when you stop he "fanboyishness" (is that even a word?) of Science!

besides you know as well as I Ghostbusters  Rocks.

Ghostbusters III could be better than any film they put out so far in the last 3-4 years.

The problem here is the Science actually rocks, and Ghostbusters 3, done by CGI because all the actors got fat, is stupid.

In the 80's they rocked.

Now, they will suck.

I see you're point. I just personally have high hopes for this film. I know I might be setting my self up for a fall but very few films now interest me. Spider-man 3 , Wolverine , Magneto , Transformers , Turtles and this are the only ones I'm really hyped up.

Also because it's called Hellbent hopefully they go in to hell or hell comes to earth and either way they give use Stay Puft's return!

but yes I admit houde you maybe right it might suck. But I refuse to believe that's right it has to be good.

Ok, dude. I love (LOVE) the Ghostbusters, but that statement is ludicrous. A CGI ghostbusters movie has NO chance of being anywhere as good as a number of movies in the last couple years (re: The Departed).

As all movies go, it will be either good or bad. And that's all there is to it.

It all depends on the writers and cast.

ok then better than at least 90% of them

If you were really a fan, you wouldn't be so excited about this.

Why it's ghostbusters?

Worst case scenario it's bad but still better than Extreme Ghostbusters cartoon.

This will lead the way in to games , merchandise and hopefully a new cartoon like the Real Ghostbusters cartoon.

I'm surprised how many people loved the idea of cgi turtles but hate the idea of cgi ghostbusters. It could be great.

Because it's not comedy. It's kids comedy bull****.

Just because it is cgi does not mean kids. Look at the final fantasy movies they are not so kiddy

I'll admit it may not feel like the original but it might work. I hate to say this but the first Shrek film was a cgi family movie that kids and adults both liked. now shrek 2 was for kids. I think this will be a family film like I and II but just cgi

I liked the Ghostbusters movies a lot, actually... This probably won't be able to fit.

I don't like how they want to make it CGI, too... They outta just re-do the series and make it a little more grounded or something.

Well. . .I have mixed feelings. I'll start with the bad feeling.

It's a freaking CG film. I mean, when people wanted GB III, they wanted live-action Ghostbusters, not CG! Plus, all of the negative connotations that come with CG movies being aimed at kids.

Ok, now the good feelings.

It's based on the Hellbent script (The original GB3 script written by Aykroyd and Ramis in '99), which means that its going to be true to the original two films and not some kiddy crap. Two, they finally found a loophole to get Murray back. And three, they can do a crapload more effects with CG then they can with a live-action movie.

So, I'm looking forward to it. Not as much as I would look forward to a live-action GB3, but I'm a huge GB fan and this is good news to me.

if this isnt live action, i want no part of it.
what was the loophole with murray? i thought he just had no interest in GB3.
as long as it is live action and all the original dudes are back especially Winston AKA Warden Glenn from Oz because he is my favourite, then i will care

otherwise this could so easily be another gem from my childhood ruined! i was really hyped for Transformers till i saw what they did to my hero Megatron so **** that movie im ont going to see it

I feel the same way as you. Not sure on this.

And what was the loophole?

That it's CG. Apparently, Murray didn't want to do any more live-action roles (Too old, maybe?), but he was perfectly happy to lend his voice for the project.

I mean, how is he going to say no to Ghostbusters III, when he agreed to Garfield 2?

Dude. A Tale of Two Kitties was way awesome.

Hmm, I think that I will wait for more info before I make a decision on this.

And for the record I really liked Extreme Ghostbusters.
