Foreshadowing of the change of the forum's name?
Judging by some of the new names suggested, he'll either be Seven Soldiers E or Nextwave E.

To be honest I never really found out why he changed his Name, just like Ice use to be called Icemastertron. They might of said why, but I don't remember.

.. my Ice sense is tingling... hurry get back on topic.

"Classic stories involving Sandman and Green Goblin!"

That's what the next few months for the Spider-Man comics will be.

Yep.

Be expecting a couple of meaningless minis.

And even with all the tie-ins within the core books themselves, surprised they haven't started a mini yet.

Sandman: Year Minus Twenty, where he travels back in time and marries May Reilly. He's later killed by Ben Parker, who breaks into his home in an effort to quench his unsatiable addiction to wheatcakes for just. . . one more day.

Not to mention the token attempts to 'humanize' Sandman by giving him a back story like I dunno, an abusive father or something.

Ten years from now, we'll have tie-in books for Spider-Man 6 that feature The Beetle as a married file clerk who is totally hen-pecked by his status obsessed wife. Or something.

Ugghhh...I'm not into the art...and It just seems like a shameless movie tie in.

This is even worse than "Hollywood" in USM.

I am a bit confused as to whether this is an in-continuity book or not. I thought this was the Spider-Man and Friends kiddie book. Although judging by the Black Cat it isn't necessarily for kids. . .

And what's going on with Hellcat?

I'm going to have to disagree...more exposure to the black cat at a young age builds character.
