Anyone read this?

It was a good issue. I enjoyed how the army and the 4 came in looking like they did. It was funny seeing them in jest outfits and what not. I almost felt bad for Thing to be as the "Mostro" in the cage. Almost.

I'm enjoying Carey on the title a lot. He's doing a good job. I do wonder where the other guys are since we see what's going on with Enid.

Art was good with both Kollins and Brooks.

You know....I actually forgot I even read this. It was that dismissable.

I loved GodWar....but I'm not feelin' this arc. At all. Not the art...not the writing....nothing.

I like it as much as the rest of Carey's run. I'm kind of tired of things looking down for characters they simply would never kill off (i.e. Thing looks like he's finished here) But the rest of it's a lot of fun. Better than ****ing USM anyway.

EDIT: I mean way ****ing better.

I liked alot. Diablo should be a semi-recurring villian. Maybe he'll be trapped in the future for a while?

I didn't read Godwar, but the idea that Thanos, I'm guessing, planting the idea for a cosmic cube in Reed's head is brilliant. Carey seems to be leading up to something big too. I'm guessing we'll see Thanos again.

We will. Carey stated that there was going to be an ultimate event spinning out of the God War arc, so it'll be about the what was done there. It was supposed to be out this summer, but its been pushed until next year.

Oh, great...is this going to be an event contained in UFF, or will we see something similar to UP.

If Bendis is on the title, I'm gonna throw up.

No, Mike Carey is writing it.

I could kiss you little penguin head...but that's be gay.

The one thing I didn't like about #40 was that I couldn't tell if it was Reed's sister or Johnny's girlfriend who was going to be the sacrifice.

They didn't show Ms. Richards, so half the book I thought it was the girlfriend.

And in 616, was Reed's sister ever a villian? Because something has to come out of her being infused with uber amounts of magical energy.

That shouldn't stop you. :heybaby:

I did forget they showed an unconscious Dr. Storm. But the solits did mention the sister was gonna be the sacrifice in the solits when part 1 came out, I believe.

I like this story arc. It's not great like God War, but it's not bad.

"He's gonna de-emphasize my nose with a little blusher." Hahahahahahahaha!

I love everybody in jester outfits; especially that Lt. Lumpkin had to wear a jester hat, I don't know why but that was particularly funny to me :D

The art was great, except for the beginning and some panels in Diablo's lair that looked really off to me.

I wonder why Reed's sister had to power the device. Did it just need anybody, or was it her specifically for some reason? Probably not, just wondering if she had something the others didn't. "I'll whomp you with this whatever-it-is." "It's a retort." "Thanks, I'll whomp you with this retort."

Poor Ben, first he has to be the caged monster and then he gets shattered into a zillion pieces. I do agree with you, MwoF, that it's kinda silly to kill Ben like that, since he's obviously not dead. It doesn't add anything to the story, it's just there for shock value which it doesn't even accomplish since the title of the book demands four characters :p Still, nothing compared to Clone Saga

Oddest thing, about a year ago I thought I heard someone say Reed had an evil sister, but I looked it up and didn't find anything, and now all this stuff is happening with his sister in the UU, and I still can't find anything. So now I'm pretty sure I'm insane

Yuppers, I'm either insane  or precognitive

I think it's the blue die you keep using. Stuff smells like modeling glue. 8)

I could ban you.

But do we really want that to happen?

If it helps, I'll pat your penguin head a few times.

I think it'd be cool for Reed's sister to go evil and try to destroy Reed. And perhaps go on to marry Doom, Reed's nemisis?

Once he gets outta zombie-land of course.

I barly remember what happened in it and it was kind of hard to pay attention. it hope it gets more interesting. Still hundred times better than USM

I just wanted to say i hate LaRocca's covers to this arc. Generic and ugly.
