Naruto

You know what sucks about Naruto? There are so many great characters, that there's just not enough time to give them all the spotlight they deserve. 368 chapters and we know little about 3/5ths of the original cast (i.e. their techniques and skills). Hell, we've only gotten a taste of what some of the new characters can do that were introduced about 100 chapters ago, and the newer-new characters haven't done anything since they were introduced 20 chapters ago.

Also, I wonder if they'll reveal the names of the previous shown Kages, and I wonder if we'll ever see the other Kages?

I can see how most people would be turned off by Naruto after watching/reading a small portion of it; I was one of these people for a long time. The series has many, many flaws but generally manages to entertain week in and out. Honestly, you have to read a whole lot of it to completely appreciate it.

At first I really thought Naruto was just gonna be another cliche action anime.

The star, Naruto, being a impulsive, hard-headed, not too bright, everyone likes him, has hidden power, and quickly becomes the most powerful character in the show... the typical actionanime hero.
Now while most of that is true, what's unique is that almost nobody likes him for a long time (most can barely tolerate him) and he never becomes better than the other characters... he does posses great power (at a cost), but he doesn't really know any techniques (probably) because of his obvious learning disabilities and lacks any real skill, because of that he greatly depends on others for help and advice because he will likely fail on his own.

Than there's the rival of the series that I also found unique; Sasuke. He's the one with the tragic past, not the hero. He's the most skilled, not the hero. He's the one everyone likes, not the hero. And while he is the hero's rival, it's the hero that's trying to be better than him... why isn't the show called "Sasuke"? lol.

Someone on a Naruto forum posted a Tobi theory that I kinda like...
when Pein and Konan were talking to the "true" leader in 363, he reached for a spare Akatsuki cloak and was acting differently than Tobi. This could indicate that he isn't really Tobi, but rather is now posing as Tobi for whatever reasons.
This could indicate that the real Tobi's dead, however that isn't necessarily true. Tobi was unbelievably fast, likely the fastest character in Naruto... he also appeared to possibly have some kind of healing ability when Sasuke appeared to cut Tobi in half, but then stood up a moment later.
Also, if the true leader is infact posing as Tobi, then Tobi served no real purpose to the story before his death... and his popularity is reason enough not to kill him off.
It's pretty obvious that Tobi is Obito anyway. So if he managed to survive getting crushed to death infront of everyone, and survive getting cut in half, then there's no reason to not believe he survived Deidara's explosion (especially since he was so fast and already a few miles away when the explosion happened).

What the hell are they talking about? The Akatsuki leader is Obito/Tobi he's obviously not dead.

First of all, is it really necissary to post theories with spoiler marks on them?

And Obito is so obviously Tobi, it's almost painful. It's in the same vein as Naruto's parentage; you may want it to be more complex, but you're only going to be crushed (like I was).

I used the spoiler because it covers events that are about five+ years ahead of the anime in America... I was being careful. But now that you mention it, is there anyone that cares about this topic that isn't up to date with Naruto in Japan?

Also, in the guy's theory, Pein stated that Tobi was easily replaceable... that may had been another hint.

I doubt anyone on this bored would actually care about that

My point in this manga, people are getting plotlines way too complex and stuff.

It's not complex, people have stated before that the writer comes up with stuff week to week, and that's it

K.I.S.S.

Keep It SImple Stupid

It still hurts to hear, but it's something to live by.

I started reading monster at Twilight's insistance; and she's right. It's awesome.

Otherwise, I don't really think Kishimoto has resolved anything in his head yet. He's just making **** up that seems to fit...hence all the plot holes.
