I had this planed for if I won this or DreamMovie , I won this so here it is (I figured this would be fun and just crazy) .

Rules

1. The winner of the last round becomes the moderator of the round, and thus gets to choose the property or story in question to be adapted. Winner may also declare whether this property is an animated film, or a live-action one. He must also name the core characters to be cast, which should be at least 4, but no more than 9.

2. Participants may not use actors who have played the role before in the same medium before. Voice talents may not reprise their role, nor can film/TV ones.

3. After the time period set by the moderator, the round is declared closed. People will vote via PM and send it to the moderator, who will count the votes and declare winner. Like the Ultimatization Game, you CANNOT vote for yourself.

4. The winner declared gets to choose the property in the next round

This is crazy, but brilliant.

Imagine the story you could come up with for a movie. Man, this would be an awesome round for DreamMovie.

Exactly! I was really hoping to use it for DreamMovie but I don't think i'll ever win that.

Yeah that's why I put it there. I don't know what Fox is supposed to sound like actually.

I'm not complaining. and I can honestly say without fear of contradiction that you have the Best cast so far this round.

SUPER SMASH BROTHERS! THE MOVIE!

HEROES Part 1

Mario: Jon Favreau
jfavreau.jpg

Essentially the protagonist of the film Mario is the one the entire Mushroom Kingdom looks up to. He's at a pretty stable point in his life as he's married to Princess Peach and hasn't heard of Bowser for years. That is until Bowser shows up at his doorstop with an army of mindless drones led by him and Ganondorf. Mario gets thrown out of the Mushroom Kingdom with Luigi and Yoshi and has to find a way to stop Bowser. To play the stout Italian superhero I pick the lovable John Favreau. While he's not leading man quality exactly, neither is Mario. I don't have a genius explanation so I hope people just get this like I do.

Luigi: Jason Schwartzman
jasonsij3.jpg

Luigi is the Robin to Mario's Batman. After he and Mario are kicked out of the Kingdom the two of them (with Yoshi) have to fight through hordes of monsters let loose by Ganondorf on the world. Schwartzman's a comedy actor in all regards, but if you look at Luigi he's essentially the comedy guy of the Mario series. I think it also helps that Schwartzman's younger than Favreau, so it adds to the big brother little brother concept.

Peach: Sienna Miller
sienna_miller1_300_400.jpg

Mario's basically lucky that he's saved Peach's life about fifty times, because I doubt she would give him much thought otherwise. He's pretty much as average as you can get without the rescue hero part and Peach is the perfect princess. She's royalty and as such is a little stuck up, but when Bowser takes over the kingdom she'll try and fight him as much as she can. I'd like to see Sienna Miller as the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. She's got a regality to her that I think is sometimes lost in transition pf Mario games.

Link: Jonathan Rhys Meyers
jonathan_rhys_meyers_narrowweb__300x401,0.jpg

First of all I think that Link and Zelda should be a little bit older than they are in the games. After spending time after saving Hyrule from Ganondorf, Link is given a message by his fairy Navi. Navi tells him how Ganondorf has attacked the Mushroom Kingdom worlds away and he must fight him. Link is transported to the Kingdom by Navi and has to reface his old enemy. I think I use Meyers too much in these rounds but he'd be great to play the knight of Hyrule because of his confidence. Like my Mario choice I can't think of too good of a description but I hope that people see the cast the way I do.

Zelda/Sheik: Missy Peregrym
missy.jpg

At the beginning of the film Zelda and Link are happy together. When they find out that Ganondorf is still alive she makes Link take her with him and they have to fight their way through the Mushroom Kingdom to stop Bowser. Zelda is not the damsel in distress that Peach is, she's more of a warrior than she lets off and as such needs to be played by someone intense. Missy Peregrym usually plays characters who are tough in character but have softer sides to them. I think she could bring that toughness that Zelda needs.

Samus Aran: Yvonne Strahovski
nup_109731_0008.jpg

In this film Samus is searching the cosmoses searching for Ridley. In it she meets up with Fox patrolling the Lylat system and Captain Falcon back on his home planet. While it seems unconnected to the other story, the three of them end up finding Ridley on the Mushroom Kingdom fighting with Bowser and Ganondorf. I could see Samus developing a friendship with the two. If you see the fantastic show Chuck, you'll understand this pick.

Fox McCloud: Michael J. Fox
039_10416~Michael-J-Fox-Posters.jpg

Fox is kind of a cocky little guy, even though he's a great hero and all of that. He's thrown when he realizes no one's heard of him outside of the Lylat system and works to prove that he can really do a lot of the things he says he can. When Samus comes to him for information on Ridley Fox takes her to Captain Falcon's world and the three continue their fight to the Kingdom. I think Michael J. Fox can still pull of the charm and wit he always portrayed in his earlier roles to bring Fox to life. And the whole Fox playing Fox thing was an accident.

Captain Falcon: Johnny Knoxville
miibpremiere1.jpg

On his home world, Captain Falcon is the ****. He races cars fast, he drinks a lot and he hunts down criminals for a living. He'll have a mutual hatred with Samurai Goroh and will join Samus and Fox as they try to find Ridley. it would be explained that Ridley would have gone to Falcon's planet and rigged the races so that Goroh would win and join Ridley on their way to the Mushroom Kingdom. I see Captain Falcon as kind of a cocky jackass. Johnny Knoxville, there you go.

Ness: Masi Oka
MasiOka_Cohen_13444178_400.jpg

I think it would be cool if we don't see Ness as the little kid that he was in the games, but grown up and pretty much a geek. Sure he saved his world but everyone else moved on. I could see him teaming up with Ash and Kirby to go against their enemies and prove that he's still a hero. How they get to the Mushroom Kingdom and meet up I don't know. Now is Masi Oka anything but perfect to play a grown up version of Ness? I think not.

Ash Ketchum: Shia LaBeouf
medium_Transformers%20-%20Shia%20LaBeouf%202-3r6yn2tg.jpg

Ash Ketchum is basically as you see him in the cartoon. He's a jokester and a little inept but he knows to do the right thing. I would have Ash teaming up with Ness and Kirby some way but I'm not sure how, probably to stop Mewtwo. Have him with Pikachu, Charizard, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Snorlax and Donphan just to show that he is in fact a great trainer and have some cool action scenes. I wanted to cast someone Asian in this but couldn't find anyone right so I went with Mr. LaBeouf. I think he brings the charm necessary to play Ash.

And that's part one of the heroes.

bluebeast your cast is ****ing awesome I love Michael J. Fox as Fox and Patrick Warburton as Donkey kong so much. If I could vote i think yours would be the one I voted

HEROES Part 2

Kirby: Patton Oswalt
ratatouilleprem32.jpg

Kirby would get in the same way as Ash and Ness I'm just not sure how. I think it would be funny to see Kirby as a little pessimistic and a complainer. Not sure why but I'm going with Patton Oswalt as the voice just because I think he'd be hilarious.

Donkey Kong: Patrick Warburton
0000003373_20060919203341.jpg

Donkey Kong would appear later as a general of an army of apes who fight the villains in a sequel possibly. Picture Patrick Warburton dressed up as a monkey with a tie and I think it would be great.

Pit: Orlando Bloom
orlando_bloom1_300_400.jpg

He'd too show up in a sequel to add a leader of an army of angels that help. Orlando Bloom could play an angel and nobody would raise an eyebrow. Yeah this'll work.

Snake: Bruce Willis
Bruce-Willis-Photograph-C11796808.jpeg

Initially hired by the big bad to take out some of the heroes moving against them Snake would turn on them and become one of the resistance. Bruce Willis, yes please.

Now on to Villains.

Villains

Bowser: Jeremy Irons
Jeremy_Irons.jpg

Bowser is basically oyur steriotypical villain, like most of the Nintendo villains. In order to make Bowser a threat you would have to make him to terrible things right away. I don't know how they could make him work in live action but you need someone who can play the villain. Jeremy Irons might get type-casted as the villain a little too much but he's perfect at it. Have him snarl with the same voice he had when he was in Kingdom of Heaven and you've got yourself a Bowser.

Ganondorf: Rufus Sewell
helenoftroy.jpg

Ganondorf is probably the youngest of the villains and therefore is the most egotstical. The only thing that's ever stopped him before was Zelda and Link, two kids. In the final battle you need Ganondorf beating away at Link telling him how he's better than him and all of that. I posted this originally in the Zelda round. I'll stick with it.

King Dedede: Patrick Stewart
patrick%20stewart.jpg

I like how Dedede just looks rediculous compared to the other feroscious characters around him. The thing about him though is that he'll talk down to all of them and won't have a problem with fighting people bigger than him. I also think it would be very comical having a voice such as Stewart's coming from a penguin. Anyone see the Jimmy Neutron movie? This works in the same regard as the voice he did there; but funnier since he's a penguin.

Meta Knight: James Earl Jones
jej.jpg

I see Darth Vader when I see Meta Knight. Go figure.

Ridley: Zachary Quinto
zackie2.png

Ridley is the best space pirate in the galaxy, so he's got to have some cunning to him. The only thing that's ever stood in his way was Samus and he intends to get rid of her. Zachary Quinto's been one of the greatest TV villains of all time. I think he'll bring the creepiness necessary for this role.

Samurai Goroh: Ken Watanabe
ken_black_suit_closeup.jpg

Sure it seems typecasting to make Ken Wantanabe a samurai in this movie, but you know what, it'd be awesome. The main thing I see when I picture this is Johnny Knoxville being in a fight to the death with him. It'd be great.

Mewtwo: Jason Isaacs
jasonwhite.jpg

Mewtwo's a complicated character, he's not essentially evil evil, but he's not necessarily a good person either. Jason Isaacs has a creepy voice, now picture that inside your head.

Master Hand: Terrence Stamp
Haunted_Manstion-Terrence_Stamp.jpg

I feel it would make since to have Master Hand be the villain behind it all. Don't know why but I think Terrence Stamp could pull this off without making it look rediculous.

So there you go, SSB.

  since blue beast edited it looks like I knew he was going to cast Patrick Warburton before he cast him!

Oh also I was tempted to add a new rule this round but didn't I was wondering what everyone thinks of this rule :

NO posting your cast until it's complete.

Now that would mean people edit sure like change people or add pictures or what ever but no posting an empty cast with like 1 person cast. Maybe a bad idea.
