Mystic Arcana: Black Knight -

Mystic Arcana: Black Knight continues the all-new stories of mystic arts in the Marvel Universe. When the Old Magics of Camelot are threatened, Merlin must call upon Sir Percy of Scandia, the Black Knight, to confront the Mordred the Evil and return the magic to its former power. Legendary writer Roy Thomas and fan-favorite artist Tom Grummett bring you this all-new medieval tale featuring Marvel's sword-wielding hero.

This issue also contains the exciting second part of Ian McNee's thrilling quest to obtain the four magical objects. In this 10-page bonus story, McNee faces the beautiful but deadly Morgan Le Fey. The second installment of McNee's Mystic Arcana story arc, written by David Sexton and penciled by Eric Nguyen (Sandman Mystery Theater), will help to redefine magic in the Marvel Universe.

Grab your broadsword and take a journey back to medieval times with the extra-sized issue of Mystic Arcana: Black Knight!

This new looks ****ing awesome , The art looks great and story sound cool.

And cause it said "all-new stories of mystic arts in the Marvel Universe" I think it is pretty damn cool to see Marvel trying something new and interesting. Of course they could mess it but still it has my attention.

Did anyone read all or part of the Mystic Arcana series? I received the HC collection for a Christmas gift, and am currently reading through it for the second time. I just wondered what everyone (or anyone) else thought of it.

For one thing, it makes me want to break out my Tarot card decks and start practicing again.... :D

I liked the art, and even though I wasn't familiar with most of the characters, I didn't have much trouble following the stories. If nothing else, I'm going to have to see what else I can find that features Ian McNee.

I've not read it yet but I really want to

I read all of it

I liked all the Ian McNee parts (great character should be used more often)and Nguyen's art was great, i didn't like the Magik/Black Knight/Scarlet Witch/Sister Grimm parts very much

I thoroughly enjoyed "The Official Tarot of the Marvel Universe" it was so wicked

overall it was O.K., but not nearly as good as the Legion of Monster's mini of the same format

Agreed on both counts. I was hoping someone would do a full-blown Marvel Tarot deck, at least listing the characters who would appear on the cards even if there wasn't any art, but I suppose doing the Major Arcana was enough work.
