Shouldn't these two threads http://www.ultimatecentral.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7718&highlight=knight+rider&page=2 be merged together under tv as the movie the other thread mentioned turned into this show instead?
Glen Larson is a jackass who thinks he is the only one who knows what's right for everything he's ever been involved with/created.I think they're still making the movie. The original creator, Glen Larson was against making this TV movie as he didn't think it was serious enough, or something. He wants to make a movie based on his 'original vision', or something.

I hope this develops into a series. It seems like the perfect kind of thing to switch on after you stumble in drunk after a night on the town and you just want to watch something that doesn't require much brain activity to unwind.
From Knight Rider UK:
All System's GO Michael
The news we have been waiting for since Feb has been released! Knight Rider WILL get a 12 part episodic series this year!
"American network NBC have confirmed that their refreshed Knight Rider franchise will be returning to screens following the success of a two-hour pilot movie. For fans of the original or aguably watchable television in general, the news that this is no April's Fool will inevitably cause discomfort.
But strong premiere ratings and Silverman's demand for shows that allow viewers to 'mentally tune out' ultimately won out to the inevitable heckling online. "That's his directive, and I think you'll see that reflected in the programs," says NBC's Marc Graboff.
Beginning this fall, the series will showcase Ford's Shelby GT500KR as the Knight Industries Three Thousand (KITT), voiced by Val Kilmer, and see the return of pilot actor Justin Bruening as Michael Knight, incidentally the Hoff's illegitimate spouse. Whether there will be any future guest appearances by David Hasselhoff is as yet unknown but expect a suitable serving of cheese nonetheless.
The series is expected to make its debut Friday evenings in the Fall schedule but may be subject to change following the announcement of its rivals' network schedules in May. Knight Rider will support recent renewals such as ER, Chuck, Heroes, Life, The Office and My Name is Earl."
...coming 2009 to Wildstorm Signature from Warren Ellis!!!!111 :crazy:A 100%, darker than the devil, psychological, science-fiction thriller about a man who drives a high-tech car with an in-built Artificial Intelligence would not work and should not be made.
