Not much is known yet except it's due out 2008 on both 360 and ps3 , the first dragonball z game on those consoles and it's a fighting a game. Should be pretty damn cool if they do it right

new info here

http://www.meristation.com/v3/des_avances.php?id=cw47bac16e36ccc&idj=cw476224a3d5b8c&pic=PS3

in spanish so translate with http://babelfish.altavista.com/ not 100% acurate but gives us new info. Here's a break down for thoose who do not want to translate

First that confirms to us it is that we are before a new series. No longer it is Budokai. It is Burst Limit. Although it is certain that the fight style is similar to the one of the games of Budokai, Dimps has wanted to renew all the aspects to obtain a completely new product

Also the "Pieces Drama" or intermediate scenes is very contented with because they help to give dramatic quality to the action. For example, in the way history. These scenes, generated in real time by the own console, appear if certain conditions are fulfilled. The scenes can as much directly be extracted of animates or the type "what if", or "what had happened if". Everything will depend on the course of history and the decisions that we take.

That is nice

In order to begin, and after the presentation (that already has been made public for a time), the main menu appears before my, where I can see the game ways. And these are: "versus Mode", in that we will be able to compete against the machine, a friend or, by means of the online one, with any player of the world. "Story Mode", where we will follow the fates of Goku and company and in which will become special emphasis in the intermediate scenes. "Trial Mode", way that will allow to confront challenges to raise our level us. "Exercise Mode", with training to learn the techniques and tactics of fight. Finally we have the "Option Mode" where we will calibrate the game to our taste, from the levels of difficulty to the graphical options and sound.

there's much more too but I didn't want to post too much. Looks like this will be pretty damn good game

I haven't play a new one since Budaoki 3.

Everytime I think about getting the next one, they announce another one.

yeah i hated that, but at least with the last two, every returning character was made unlocked if you had them unlocked in the previous game. The Naruto games failed to do this and the fact that their games are not spread out well enough pisses me off. Ultimate Ninja 2 came out in November and the latest one last month and now the next one was just announced for a next gen release in the coming months.

I'd like to see a non-fighting DBZ game. Like the Legend of Goku games on the GBA. An RPG like that, or even some sort of third person shooting/fighting/GTA-esque game on the consoles would be sweet.

An Rpg would be great or a game like Dragonball Z sagas only good would be cool.

I get them every time. There is 2 yearly games I get everytime DBZ and WWE. But i'm sure people buy every football or american football game too. I'm glad it's returning to be more like Budaoki 1-3 and less like the Budokai Tenkaichi games.

Don't get me wrong Budokai Tenkaichi is awesome and is the closest to been like the actual show. However the budokia games were better fighters so it's great to go back to that for a while.

Burst limit even stops at cell like Budaoki , So when they do Burst limit 2 you'll have a new saga with fusions ect... so this time like with Budaoki they can get the combat system and everything fixed then worry about adding fusions , movie charracters , Dragonball , DBGT ect... Plus the way story mode looks on this is awesome.

You should get it if you want it. It even has online which should be great.

There is Demo out on 360 and ps3 stores if you want to try it out

After I connected to playstation network today the first thing I did was dowload this game (I had to get a usa dummy account to do it but still) I hadn't even played GTA IV or wattched the film that came with it.

I loved the Demo. I wish it had a vs mode on demo for two player but still the game it's self is pretty damn tight and plays very well, Can't wait for full game
