Grand Theft Auto IV

I get what people meant by driving is diffrent on this one. Different controls but it's so annoying to drive. I think It might one of those when you get used to it it's good but right now I hate the driving on it. I keep skidding out of control or crashing or pressing X and wondering why car is not moving (though the last one is just force of habit)

Still the rest of the game is great.

While playing today
I went to the comedy club and it had Ricky Gervais doing stand up in it. It Even did his mannerisms as he did.
I know others will have seen that but I did not expect that and bam out no where there it is. I thought was ****ing well boss

So, did you kill
Playboy or Dwayne?
Also,
Derrick or Francis?

Also Playboy X's crib has Claude's suit from GTA3. Go change cloths in his house and you'll get that whole suit as a something to wear. Brings back memories driving around with that suit on shooting at cops. Although, I may go back to the black suit and tie soon since Niko looks so ****ing awesome in that suit.

I'm still on the first island. I hear you eventually get a new cellphone. I just passed the part where you kill those douchebags on their bikes, and blow up that truck for Faustin. I also passed the part where you sign up on the internet. How long till the second island?

You're pretty close. There's a big story event that leads to the second island opening up, and it's coming through soon. Just keep cranking through the Faustin missions.

Cool. Somebody already told me what happens (
you kill Faustin).

I played this for about 3 hours last night - it was the first time I've been able to sit down at length and play the game.

And it is awesome. It is seriously one of the best games I've ever played.

3 hours and I barely put a scratch in my progress...it's too much fun to just run around stealing cars and killing random people.

And bowling. Bowling is awesome.

I haven't played yet -_-.
I have to wait until I get my first few checks to get a 360, then a TV for the 360, then a internet router for the 360, then a cool chair to sit in while playing the 360, THEN I can get the game.

I heard it was pretty amazing though. RUSSIAN PRIDE!. Hah. I heard in the game, something about being able to fly around in a hellicopter and shoot people...?

So who wants to rock some multiplayer GTA?

I'll play! Though I still have to get a wireless router. Its too much of a pain in the *** to unplug my computer modem and bring it in the other room to play online. I really need to remember to pick up that router this weekend.

I liked playing pool. Darts is just too easy, though.

The game is a Dagwood sandwich of awesomeness though, I must agree. I played it almost every night after work for the first few weeks (and still only got about 47% completed). I've opened up all three islands, but I'm still only somwhere around 50% complete with the game. Its massive, thats for sure. And the downloadable content coming in the future will only expand the game's missions.

Yup. Its a lot like the Army helicopter in Vice City, just cooler looking.

Oh, sweet. I could never find the Army Copter -_-

Its in the Army Base in Vice City, by the airport.

The only way to get it is to storm the Army Base, run the route to the back of it, and somehow survive. Surviving is possible using the cheat codes (health, armor), but it takes practice as you can't keep running when entering them. And the army guys unload with the weapons, if you know what I mean. Basically, you need to drive a car or truck through the front gate to break the gate arm, turn left and head towards the stairs leading to the roof of the building. Jump out of the car, and run up the stairs, onto the roof, heading towards the back end (east) of the base. When you can't go straight any further, turn right (south), jump down onto the ground, and run past the guard tower and exercise/training area (towards the far South wall). You'll be passing hanger like buildings on your left as you pass the training area. Once you get to the wall, turn left again (east), and hug the wall until you hit the corner. Turn left (north), running behind more hangers, until you reach the chopper. Run for it, jump in, start the engine, and start the health codes as soon as possible (the army guys will open fire usually right away...if you're lucky there's a good delay). You should be able to fly out of there no problem if all goes as planned.

It usually takes practice, since you have to know when you can stop without being shot to put in a health cheat (I suggest by the hangars/training area/far wall). The rest of the time, just run as fast as possible. Don't stop to shoot or anything, just run. After a few frustrating deaths figuring out the route, you should be able to pull it off.
